Accommodations: Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 4-8)
Grand Timber Lodge offers a unique mountain get-away. Although Summit County is beautiful in all seasons, we love the winter. Located between Peak 8 & 9, at the top of the Snowflake Lift you can ski down to two lifts that take you to either the top of Peak 8 or the top of Peak 9 for many runs of varying difficulty--something for everyone. The views from the lodge are world class. The staff is pleasant and accommodating, and indoor amenities include everyone's interests--young and old, active and relaxed. Breckenridge has become our home away from home. We love the charming mountain town, the Lodge, and the mountain.

Why the Owner Chose Grand Timber Lodge
We both love the mountains in the winter. Breckenridge, and Grand Timber Lodge in particular, is so beautiful we both enjoy our time there. Denny enjoys the convenience of skiing right down to Snow Flake lift on Peak 8, while Chris relaxes at the lodge. She spends an hour in the work-out room or paddles around in one of the pools. We meet up for lunch at the Lodgepole Restaurant or walk into town. Often we meet up with friends for a game of gin-rummy or a movie and then head home (Grand Timber) to relax in one of the hot tubs and then to bed.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The folks at Grand Timber are friendly and helpful. There is a full service ski and board rental shop on lodge property. There is ski and board storage for all. You can ski down, store your skis, take a shower, hit the hot tub, sauna, steam room, grab a meal and drink at the on site restaurant--all before even going to your room!! If it's quiet time you want, there are many comfortable quiet corners, the Great Room has a crackling fire and big screen TV for the Broncos game. We enjoy a glass of wine at the Lodgepole Restaurant facing Peak 8 or at one of the pools or hot tubs. Movies are available for rental, and our grandkids like the arcade. Our daughter always books a massage at the spa, and our sons have an ongoing pool game. Downtown is close enough to walk to or you can take the Lodge shuttle. There's something for everyone.

Owner's Map of Grand Timber Lodge
We are Denver natives and retired teachers. All four of our children are spread far and wide, so we enjoy being able to travel to wherever they are. Last Christmas, we spent the week in Breckenridge--nine of us in a three bedroom condo. It was terrific. This winter we will travel to L.A and stay with family, so our ski week at Grand Timber Lodge is available for others to enjoy.
