The peace and quiet of the Brushy Mountains that surround this cabin along with the comfortable, cozy cabin itself makes for an ideal get-away that offers rest, relaxation, and de-stressing. Unplug and get away from it all. Reconnect with yourself and those you love.
This cabin is located about an hour and a half northwest of Charlotte, near North Wilkesboro and Wilkesboro, NC. It is situated high up on the mountain and has a beautiful mountain view. The cabin is also an hour from Winston-Salem, and about 35 minutes from Boone and Appalachian State University. It is very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Blowing Rock.
Several festivals occur close by throughout the year: Merle Fest in April, Chicken Fest on Memorial Day weekend, and the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival in October. Nearby Stone Mountain offers several hiking trails and tours of an old homestead. The New River is the perfect spot to canoe. Several local wineries offer tours, and there are many hiking trails nearby.
Come for a weekend, or a week and enjoy the wrap-around deck with an exhilarating view in all seasons. Have a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise. The wood burning fireplace provides a cozy atmosphere on chilly nights. If you are looking for a beautiful place to relax and de-stress, this is it!!

Rental fee for Merle Fest Weekend is negotiable. In order to insure that the
cabin is clean for our guests, we also charge a $50.00 cleaning fee in addition to
nightly/weekly rates. Thank you.

We decided to buy this property because of the beautiful view on top of the mountain. It is very peaceful and relaxing. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, including sightseeing, hiking, dining, canoeing, and much more. Or, if you just need a weekend get away, this is ideal! The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
It is wonderful to experience nature and the beauty of the mountains. We also love being close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, wonderful mountain towns such as Boone, Blowing Rock, and West Jefferson. There is so much to do!! And, you can also just relax and do nothing.
