Located in Manhattan's Soho district (bordering Little Italy and the Lower East Side), this 2 Bedroom/2 bathroom apartment will deliver vacationers the perfect alternative to the overpriced/undersized rooms found at other downtown NYC hotels. This 12 floor building (with 24 hour doorman service) is within a stone's throw to some of the most renowned restaurants, bars, stores and boutiques in the world!
This 900 square foot condo is on the 10th floor of a recently remodeled building. Everything in this building is new or relatively new, including the lobby, a spacious patio deck, a complete gym, and laundry room. The eastern views this apartment provides will make you want to sit in the apartment all day and stare at the beauty of the parks, bridges, and new/old architectural treasures the Lower East Side has to offer. Or, better yet, head outside, and step right into SoHo/Little Italy, and shop/drink/eat/be merry with the hip and the tourist alike.
Specifically regarding the apartment, this is the primary residence of a husband/wife/2 year old child. As with most primary homes, this apartment is loaded. Highlights are a full kitchen, a living room that contains all electronic goodies to keep everyone from wanting to leave the house, and a baby's room that is perfect for a family with a baby.
As mentioned, this is a two bedroom apartment. The first bedroom is the master bedroom, with its own full bathroom. In this bedroom, included is a queen bed, a dresser for your use, and a 17" LCD TV with a DVR. The second room is currently the baby's room, and ideally will be used in this manner for the renter use. However, we do own a queen-sized Aerobed, which could be used in this room if so desired (if you don't need the crib). The baby's room has a wooden crib, a changing table, and a rocking chair. Also, all rooms have huge windows with custom made blackout shades, to give you the ability to enjoy the views from 10 stories up, or to maximize your sleep potential!
The living room is truly spacious, and will make a perfect central location to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The 42 inch wall-mounted TV is awesome, but the DVR with virtually all Pay cable channels, Free Wi-Fi, a Surround Sound Stereo system, CD/DVD, and a Nintendo Wii makes this room even grander! And, if so inclined, the room at the end of the night could be turned into a sleeping space, using either of the two super comfy couches (ask our parents for a letter of recommendation, they swear by it!). Ultimately, this apartment could be used for anywhere from 2-6 people, feel free to ask us additional questions on sleeping arrangements if interested.
From an access standpoint, hailing a taxi in front of our building couldn't be any easier. If you prefer the NYC subway, within a few blocks are many different lines, including the 6, N/R/W, the F/V, and the J/M/Z nearby. We are a block away from the New Museum, 2 blocks away from Whole Foods, a park with Basketball and Soccer access is right behind the building, and, well, you can imagine how many world class restaurants and stores are within a few blocks.
This apartment is only rented on the limited instances when we are out of town, so don't miss out on a unique opportunity to stay in a rental unit that feels truly a home.

We have always loved this area of the city. NoLiTa really has it all. Charm, grit, shopping, food, and easy access to all points NYC. Tell anyone you live and/or staying in this area (Soho, Chinatown, Lower East Side, Greenwich Village), and people universally are excited. We bought it 3 years ago, and we've enjoyed every minute of it.
