We had a wonderful week at this beautiful home and we would go back in a heartbeat. Our family of two adults and four young children were perfectly at home here, with a generous amount of space and everything we could possibly need. We loved the chef's kitchen with great cooking and serving pieces. If you enjoy having an espresso machine, you will find one here. Our kids loved the flat screen TVs in every room. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, a bit of Europe mixed with Southern California. It is sunny, clean, and very well organized. Appliances are new, and high quality. Beds are excellent; we slept more comfortably than at home. The yard was beautifully landscaped, and the patio would be a nice place to have meals or a small gathering. We did not have the chance as our family with young kids was always on the go, to Disneyland, Legoland, etc...., and we thought the home was in a perfect spot for this type of SoCal young family vacation. It would also be perfect for a group with older kids or no kids, with the peaceful elegance here, and all the nice wine glasses and a setting that makes you want to host summer evening party. We had one beach day (beaches just a few minutes drive from here) and of course all of the sand toys, boogie boards, beach towels, cooler, chairs, and anything else we could have thought of was right there in the garage in well organized cabinets. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely. It feels like more of a quiet retreat than staying in the congested beach areas near the noise of people and train, where parking a minivan can be difficult. For us, the amenities of the upscale suburban neighborhood was a good thing. Our communication with the homeowner was excellent. If we had a question, Randall was accessible by phone or email. This house is in a quiet neighborhood up the hill from the "hubbub" of San Clemente proper. The beaches and downtown are a mere 5-7 minutes away. Plenty of easy access to groceries and a Target as needed. There is plenty of space here for a family of 4-5 and you could stretch it to 6-7 in a pinch. House is clean and well appointed with the necessities to let you relax as if you were in your own home. The owners were easy to deal with and I'd definitely recommend this rental to friends or family who might visit San Clemente.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is a lovely home, and was very comfortable for 8 people. My family shared it with my brother and his family, and we had plenty of space for various activities to be going on in different rooms without disturbing each other. The house is close to I-5, so getting around Southern California is fairly simple. It was about 30 minutes to Disneyland, and 15 minutes to a fantastic beach in Laguna. We would definitely consider staying there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a marvellous time in San Clemente. The property is just perfect for us as a family. It matched up with its appearance, amenties and location. The owners were fantastic with information leading up to our stay and there was easy to access information at the property. The property was clean and well-maintained. My family just returned from a 4-week stay in San Clemente. The home was very comfortabl and the kitchen had every appliance know to man! It's too bad that I am such a bad cook, However, the owner supplied a binder with restaurant locations and menus. We did not starve. There were tons of games and videos to entertain my young grandsons. Also the beach chairs, umbrella, and sand toys made our trips to the beach very enjoyable. Would love to plan a return trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed at this property for the week of July 4th and really enjoyed our time at the house. Although most of our days were spent sightseeing we wanted to come home to a quiet house with many of the luxuries we are lucky enough to enjoy in our own home. We got exactly what we wanted with this house. Its quiet, luxurious and in a great location for getting anything towards LA or San Diego. Randall the owner was very professional in our communications and gave some excellent advice especially regarding best place to watch July 4th fireworks. We may well be back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed in this home for just a month and left wishing we could have stayed much longer. The photos on the website are very accurate; the home is beautifully furnished and the decor is clean and fresh. We loved hearing the birds in the garden and were especially delighted to see our first sighting of a Hummingbird.., All drawers were naming tags the, electronics, points of interest in the community, restaurants locations and recommended beaches. The location was close to good markets “ALBERTSON’s”, restaurants and stores. San Clemente is quiet, charming, but it's conveniently located to all the major attractions in Southern CaliforniaThe owner was extremely helpful and quick respond at any time, We would definitely stay here again and hope that it won't be too long before this is the case! I often travel to the West Coast of the US but this was the first time my family joined me. We're from the UK and I wanted to make sure that they had the best experience after their long flight and that their first US trip was a hit. I need not have worried, Randall's home in San Clemente was the perfect home-from-home. The facilities provided were first class and Randall made us feel very welcome. San Clemente made a good base to explore the area and the tranquil location also meant that on the occasion, when we didn't want to drive about we could relax in the garden in perfect peace. I have no hesitation in whole-heartedly recommending this vacation rental, our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!
