Escape from it all at this beautiful log style Cabin in a very private and quiet setting. This cabin will help you relax from the moment you arrive. It is in a very quiet area, but you are still just a few minutes to everything Big Bear has to offer.
Big Bear offers a wide array of activities for outdoor enthusiast including, skiing, snow boarding, sledding, boating, fishing (both Bass and Trout), hiking, mountain biking and golfing.
There is even a couple movie theaters, a bowling alley and a one of a kind Zoo!
From this cabin, you can walk to the National Forest for adventurous hiking. Just a short drive away are Bear Mountain and Snow Summit ski area, the Golf Course and the Lake. Big Bear Village is about a 5 minute drive. At the village, there is plenty of shopping, nightlife and great restaurants. You can also walk to the marina from the village where you can rent a boat and fishing gear for the day.
This three spacious bedroom home is beautifully decorated with log furnishings, and equipped with everything you need for the trip. But if there is anything you need, there is a Kmart, SteterBrothers and Vons within 2 miles.
The Master bedroom has a California King size bed with its own private bathroom. The Guest bedroom has a Queen size bed and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with a full lower and twin upper bed. Also, the living room has a Queen and Twin pull out sofas. Plenty of games and movies are provided for your enjoyment.

We were so pleased the minute we pulled up to the cabin and opened the door. It was soooo inviting, cozy, well appointed, and has EVERYTHING you need. The owner Anna was wonderful to deal with. I am very picky and asked a lot of questions and she was very approachable, accommodating and quick to respond. There is a hiking trail within minutes of the cabin and luckily there was snow everywhere! We walked into a winter wonderland on our hike! Just breathtaking! The owners take pride in their home and it shows throughout. I love the attention to detail and how organized everything is. So easy to find what you need. Thank you Anna for sharing your place with us. It is special and you are very lucky to have found such a little piece of heaven...We cannot wait to come back!! We have sent pictures to our friends/family to spread the word!! Branamar's Cabin was even better than we expected. It was a very cute, nicely decorated cabin that had everything you could possibly need. All the linens and blankets, bath accessories, everything you would need in the kitchen, as well as extras like games, videos, books, etc. were provided. It was VERY clean and everything was in GREAT condition. The location was PERFECT... just walk a few blocks and we were in the forest to go sledding. A few minutes by car and we were on the ski slopes at Bear Mtn. The pictures showed exactly what the cabin looked like. The owners are very friendly, helpful and professional at the same time. I would definitely recommend this property, but I almost want to keep this hidden gem to ourselves! :)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Very clean, comfortable and cozy. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. Cabin is nicely decorated (not overkill). Kitchen nicely equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. All the extra supplies, like paper plates, plastic forks, cleaning supplies as well as all the little extra's like pens, note pads and phone books (very handy to locate the local food places and shops). Lots of linens and blankets. Cozy warm throws and a nice variety of games and books - So much to do and very close to skiing and shopping. Fabulous location with spectacular views. The Christmas tree was a very nice touch and very nice surprise (we filled it up with gifts for our children). Thank you Anna & Family for allowing us to enjoy your Mountain Retreat.
