Beautifully decorated house 50 yards from beach, Third floor bedroom has view to the ocean with huge terrace including hammocks and pergola for shade.
The House is only 15 min walk to the main plaza where there are restaurants and bars, swings and games for children including a basketball court, we are located on the main street behind one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Morelos.
The pool, The Jacuzzi and the terrace are located in the back of the house with a big palapa shade including table and chairs to relax, if you like to cook outdoors we have made a gas grill with local stones with everything included for different types of cooking, The house was built using local materials and woods and we made sure there is a lot of attention to detail throughout the property.

Perfect for laid-back family vacation

Our family stayed at Casa del Puerto in June 2011. It was our second trip to Puerto Morelos—we love how laid-back and relaxing this place is and the house was a great fit for the vacation we had in mind--reading, playing games, relaxing and preparing most of our meals (although there are plenty of good restaurants if you don't like to cook). Most of the house is open-air with air conditioning in the bedrooms to make sleeping comfortable. The outdoor patio is a great feature, and we made good use of the grill, outdoor seating and pool. Armando, the owner, was a pleasure to meet and extremely helpful—he picked us up at the airport, let us stock up on groceries in Cancun and helped us with all of our questions, both before and during our stay. He lives a short distance away from the house and we were always able to contact him when needed. The beach is very close--less than a minute's walk away--and was almost never busy. We highly recommend Casa del Puerto for any family looking for a relaxing place to enjoy the sun, beach and time together.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

The house is as described or pictured if not better. We found everything that we needed including chairs to take to the beach. The back of the house with the pool, hot tub, grill, and table is where we spent most of our time reading, resting, laughing, play cards and just plain relaxing. It is a short walk to the beach which is not crowded. The furnishings are all first class, beds, linens, and furniture. But the best part is Armando who picked us up at the airport in a brand new van, took us to the grogery and liquor stores, and was our caring host and guide for the duration. He even arranged some in home massages for the women. The Paypal transaction and everything was flawless. Sometimes there is real questions renting long distance and making all the correct decisions and connections, but thanks to his great service everything went better than we could have imagined. If you are looking for a restful, "real Mexican" village to explore and relax, this house and what goes with it cannot be equaled!
