We have a top floor (6th) studio apartment. There is an elevator.
The apartment was completely painted in June of 2009. There are double pane windows to keep the city noise down.
There are hardwood floors with area rugs. The sitting area has a new sofa bed and a new 40 inch flat screen TV hooked into Direct TV. We receive all the major cable stations including XM radio.
Wireless internet is available upon request. An IPOD dock is available for your use.
There is a nice kitchen with a gas stove, full size fridge and micro wave oven. All sorts of pots, pans and dinnerware. The kitchen is not large but totally functional. There is a dining table in the main room.
There is new queen bed within an antique Chinese wedding bed frame.
The full bathroom has the original 1920's tile with a bathtub.

Parking is a problem in all of SF unless you rent our space . Secure Valet parking for one car comes with your rental. Just phone downstairs and your car will be waiting for you.
There is laundry in the basement of the building, it is shared with the other residents and is coin operated.

Rate Details (In US Dollars)
There is 2 night minimum stay
2 - 3 nights the rate is $130 a night
3 - 7 nights the rate is $125 a night
Over 7 nights the rate is $120 and over 30 nights it goes down to $110 per night
We accept personelchecks, visa/mastercard, and prefer PayPal
We require a $200 refundable security/damage deposit. Deposits are returned within
a couple of days of departure.
There is a non refundable $60 cleaning fee.

The Unique Benefits at this Apartment
If you DISLIKE: Art, Great Restaurants, Theatre, Great Shopping, Music & Dancing and "Cable Cars that go halfway to the Stars" then this place is definitely NOT for you. This is the perfect local to easily access all that SF embodies. We border Chinatown and Union Square. You will find great shopping and fabulous restaurants. We are surrounded by public transportation (Muni, Bart) You can take the Historic Electric trolleys that run on Market east to the bay ending at the Ferry Building (Don't miss the Saturday Farmers Market) or West into the Castro District. The Chinatown Gate is a 5 minutes walk!! If you jump on the Cable Car at Union Square in the evening it will be less crowded. Ride to the top of Nob Hill (about a 10 minute ride) there you will find the beautiful Grace Cathedral and the fabulous Crocker Mansion (now the Pacific Union Club) across the street is the Fairmont Hotel and The Mark Hopkins Hotel. Do not miss having a cocktail at the "Top of the Mark" inside the Mark Hopkins. Great views and the food is supposed to be top notch.

This apartment was great all round. Good location to shops, restaurants and transport. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Not huge but for 2 people is was plenty big enough. It was great having a few staples in the kitchen cupboard like olive oil, salt etc... and kitchen was well equipped for those who like to self cater. William made himself available if there was anything we needed, but we didn't need him as everything was fine. Loved the large map of the city on the wall with all the local services, restaurants and attractions marked out!

This apt was great, located blocks from union square, on the bus line, walk to the cable cars. If you have a car the free parking is great, we parked our bikes instead,,super safe. Living like a local for a week was great, we stayed for 6 nights, cooked all our meals in a well stocked kitchen. The pictures are accurate and the apt was super clean, onsite laundry was a real plus also. The apt is also larger than we expected, the bed is comfortable and numerous stores are right outside the front door. I loved the elevator(how stupid) but it's a real retro throw back. William is on site for anything that is needed, But that never occurred. He has maintained the place so well,,he is not needed. we would for sure stay here again and recommend it to anyone. The only way to REALLY see San Francisco is to live like one. And yes this place did save me San Francisco $$$$$, when the hotel across the street is $220 a night.

Great property- pictures are accurate and the place is spotless. Apartment has everything you need- right down to the wine opener. William has a large map on the wall showing some of the local sites and restaurants- and almost everything is in walking distance- but if you do have a car the parking is a definite plus. Public transportation takes you anywhere you want to go. Union Square is 2 blocks away along with the cable cars. Thanks Wm for a great stay!

We had a great stay. It was such a great location to see everything, and much more authentic than staying in a large brand hotel. Clean, comfy and very nicely decorated! Even the fold out bed was very nice to sleep on as well. Thanks for hosting us!

My wife and I stayed here over New Years and couldn't have been more pleased. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Very nice flat with art everywhere and within walking distance to everything. Dont miss the Dim Sum a block away! Highly recommended. Will stay here again when we return!

The location of the apartment was great. It is right next to Union Square, the cable car line and in the middle of all the expensive hotels. The apartment was clean and very spacious. We will definitely consider going back on our next trip to San Francisco.
