Year Purchased: 1990
I am an American who has lived in this wonderful town for sixteen years. I teach classes here, when I am not teaching in Paris and the US. I have two children, one of whom is being raised here, the other who is off at college. I take great joy and pride out of the refurbished house, the gorgeous little fragrant garden, the life in this lovely place, and I hope to share it with you.
Why the Owner Chose Louviers
I bought this house to live in, because I loved its layout, the many rooms, the beams and golden walls, the fireplaces, the light, the comfort, and its proximity to both Paris (one hour ten minutes) and the coast (one hour), and because of the lush surroundings.

I've rented this amazing house twice, and look forward to a return visit. It's comfortable, like home, only it's, old, charming, gorgeous. The garden is beautiful and so is the church across the street. Everyone is friendly, everything works great, and I love it! Jenny
