Year Purchased: 1990
I am an American who has lived in the wonderful town for sixteen years. I teach classes here, when I am not teaching in Paris and the US. I have two children, one of whom is being raised here, the other who is off at college. I take great joy and pride out of the refurbished house, the gorgeous little fragrant garden, the life in this love place, and I hope to share it with you.

I bought this house to live in, because I loved its layout, the many rooms, the beams and golden walls, the fireplaces, the light, the comfort, and its proximity to both Paris (one hour ten minutes) and the coast (one hour), and because of the lush surroundings.
