  My husband and I stayed in this house for a week along with another couple and it was perfect in every way. They house was well equipped and the layout was perfect. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and the Owner was very easy to deal with. The open concept kitchen and living room provided us with plenty of room to hang out and have friends in for pre dinner drinks. We spent most mornings and afternoons on the deck and in the pool. The house is a stone throw from Duval Street but located on a quiet street. We would definitely rent this house again!

  we stayed there October 2013 - the week before Fantasy Fest . The location is perfect and the accommodations ideal. The owner was very easy to work with and all my dealings with him were professional and timely. we were met at the house by the women who care for the property and they showed us around and explained everything . Unfortunately I had just injured my back so I was not able to enjoy everything Key West has to offer but was able to venture out a couple days for few hours. It was great to have this wonderful home to come home to and relax. We used the pool everyday and it was one of the only times my back didn't bother me. We didn't use the hot tub but that was our own fault. I am disappointed that I didn't get to do all I wanted while other, but that just means I will have to move up my return date and if this house is available I will definitely book there again!

  There have been many times when we've looked so forward to a vacation trip, only to be disappointed by the accommodations at our destination. This trip was NOT one of those! Sullins' house was all we had heard and read about and more. As everyone has attested here, Sullins is a delight to work with, as are Joli and Wendy, the housekeepers. The instructions for obtaining keys was a snap, and we were greeted with an immaculately clean house with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pictures are very accurate, but it's much better in person! When we decided to stock up on libations, we walked one block over to Truman Ave. to a CVS Drug Store for reasonably priced beer and wine, plus snacks and other sundries. On the way back, we stopped at A&M Scooters and Cycles on the corner of Center and Truman and rented bicycles for the week(http://www.amscooterskeywest.com/rental.html). Easy transaction, good folks there. Since we arrived before the other couple in our group, we chose to take the bedroom with the very comfortable king bed and let them have the queen bed with the master bathroom and it's spacious shower. We used the bathroom in the front part of the house and it worked out well for us (even when we had to make the trip around the pool in the middle of the night on occasion..). The pool was a great place to cool off each day after our walking and biking trips around town, especially with the humidity approaching triple-digits. The audio system provided some good background music for our relaxation time on the deck and in the water (really enjoyed the oldies on FM 93.5 and "Music of the Keys" FM104.9) We took advantage of the gas grill on the deck and enjoyed all the amenities of the fully-stocked kitchen after a quick trip to Fausto's Grocery for salmon, steaks, and the like for some "home cooking". Hopefully, we'll be able to return to this oasis again in the very near future. The 8 nights we spent at this ideal location flew by and we sadly had to depart. As per instructions, we called Joli and Wendy to inform them of our checkout and they were very gracious in allowing us to stow our luggage at the house for a couple of hours before we had to head for the airport for our late-afternoon flight. All in all, our experience with Sullins and his beautiful house were pleasantly beyond our expectations. We highly recommend this property as a comfortable, convenient, and exceptional place to add to your Key West experience.

  First, I have to say the owner, Sullins, was an absolute delight to do "business" with. Second, the housekeepers, Joli and Wendy, are wonderful people. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. WONDERFUL, just wonderful house. It is in a perfect location, within walking distance to everything you could want to visit. The pool was a selling point, but after going to the property we were SOLD. I could go on and on with rave reviews. We were so surprised how quiet the neighborhood was, being just 1 block from Duval. When we called Don, the pool maintenance man, at night to ask how to work the spa, he was very, very accomodating. A++++++++++++++++

  What could be better than Spring in Key West. Of course the true measure of any property is location, location, location. Sullin’s house is walking distance to most of the key places you will want to visit. Most notable “walkables” include : Hemingway’s House, Better Than Sex (dessert restaurant), Conch Train tour all within 5 minutes. Shopping galore on Duval St, Mallory Square for great sunsets, Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville, Sloppy Joes Bar, Hogs Breath Saloon are only a ten minute walk. We ate at the 915 on Duval, New York Pasta Garden and Sarabeth’s which were all within a 5 minute walk. We recommend each of these for a good meal. Also, in 2 minutes you can get to a scooter/electric car rental place and CVS (which sells wine). Fausto’s market is about a 15 minute walk for groceries. The house was very clean and the deck and pool are very private. It’s exactly what you would expect in Key West. You can easily roll up the overhanging deck cover for “great” morning sun. The pool is solar heated to just the right temperature or you can just sit in the Jacuzzi which can be heated up if you prefer. We had breakfast on the deck every morning followed by quiet and sun till about noon. Then we up and leave for the afternoon of site seeing then returning for snacks, a cool bottle of wine and a “short” nap. Off to dinner and a night out on Duval St. Repeat…… Sullins makes the whole reservation process a breeze. We found it difficult to leave and head home to the Northeast at the end of our stay. We’ll certainly be back.

  Just returned from a wonderful Thanksgiving stay - the house was perfect on all counts. Great location, quiet and very well-equipped. The house is charming and and as other reviewers have stated, the floor plan and outdoor space/pool/spa are just great. Basically, the perfect Old Town Key West getaway. Sullins - thank you for making the rental process a snap - we're looking forward to our next visit!

  This was a perfect house for 2 couples traveling to Key West for a long weekend getaway. Sullins could not have been easier to deal with and made the reservation and rental process easy and stress free. The location of the house is just ideal: only one street over from Duval yet you feel like you are in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood - and it's fairly central relative to Duval so you can get to either end of town pretty quickly. The house itself has everything you need. It is well equipped, comfortable, and looks fantastic. There is a great sound system that you can play indoors or out and the pool was absolutely PERFECT. And pet friendly to boot! Our little furry friend Zoey loved the pool courtyard. We found that we didn't lack anything we wanted or needed at Sullins' place. Thanks for a great stay!

  Sullins home is adorable and near anything you could possibly want to do.  And what a treat that you can take your car or rent scooters from around the corner & go shopping and cook at home!   Our favourite was taking morning dunks in the pool, afternoon dunks after the beach, and night dunks before bed.  Don't forget the outdoor shower!  You could go in the buff like my beau liked to, or keep your suit on like me.  :c) As for beaches, we reccomend bringing ping pong paddles or badmitton type rackets as an activity on the sandbars.  Also, seasocks are your friends. (check out Higgs & Bahia Honda) The house is definitely big enough for a family or 2 couples, but we were happy to make it a romantic getaway. Sullins home will without a doubt be our new anniversary spot! My only reccomendation is get ready to slather up on high octane sunscreen, and a routine application of bug spray, but somehow only for the sweet-blooded in the group.   Also, it is impossible to get a hangover in Key West.  Must be something in that perfect Southern air.. Take some tours, relax, and have fun!!

  This was our second stay at this property in 2010. Our first trip was back in June and we stayed again December 4-11.Everything was as good as the first trip and we even had the opportunity to use the heated hot tub. We are already looking to book the home again for June 2011. A truly unique property with real Key West flavor just steps from everything. No issues, No surprises, just what we look for on our trips. The pool area, disappearing walls that allow the house to flow to the outside make this a fantastic property.
