This is our "go-to" home in Florida!

We have been going to Florida and renting homes for many years now but this is the first time we are going back to the same home for the second time in a row. We had a great experience! The home is great; very large, clean, well furnished and nicely located in the community. The owner is easily contacted and returns calls and e-mails promtly. They even called us during our stay to make sure everything was ok! The community where the home is located is really beautiful as well. A gorgeous community pool area with playground, basketball court, beach volleyball, and pond for fishing, and tiki bar! Close to many many ammenities like Walmart and any restaurant your heart desires as well as a 10-15 minute drive to Disney, SeaWorld, Universal, etc. You can't beat it! I love that after a long day at an amusement park I can come back to a place to call 'home' and relax! I would recommend this home to anyone and fully intend to go back again and again!

Comfortable Stay

We are 2 families (5 adults + 3 children), wanted to visit the Disney World. We figure that house should be much more comfortable than the hotel, and we don't have to worry about the kids been loud to disturb the others, and it can offers enough space for everyone to stretch out and roam around. This house is about 10 minutes away from Disney, there are 24 hrs Walmart nearby. We rented the house during the Christmas week. The house is simple, cozy and functional, decoration is very modern, mostly from IKEA. There are 3 bedroom upstairs sharing 1 bathroom, 1 master bedroom down with the bathroom inside, and 1 queen bed room down with bathroom down the hallway. Upon arriving, you can tell the house is just clean from the strong odor of chlorine, it takes some time to get use to. Before we unpacked, we checked for bed bugs, there was none. When we inspecting the house, we found few minor things which got addressed the very next day (breakfast light was lose from connection at top, upstairs shower was draining slowly, etc). The house does not have toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. So the trip to Walmart was unavoidable. Upside is that we were able to do some grocery shopping, having a home cooked meal is very satisfying. There are enough serving wares/silver wares that you can wait until dish washer to be full before running them. Love the DLP in the living room, there are few DISNEY movies in the selection. Now the down side: 1. Our kids were so looking forward to the pool, but with the below freezing weather at night, the pool was not able to heat up. Kids was very disappointed. (This is not owners' fault). 2. With the high ceiling, the upstairs gets heated much more especially up the stairs. Inside the room are cold. Suggest to install a ceiling fan in the family room so the air gets circulated better. 3. Walmart closes on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. One roll of toilet paper is not enough when the store does not open. (I later found out that there is a 24 hrs Walgreen which is ALWAYS open, no holidays). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, whenever the problem arises, we were able to get a hold of Winnie (instead of reading the packet on the counter for local support), and the issues get resolved quickly.

The Villa made the difference!

If you can imagine coming home to a soft comfortable bed after 15 hours of Magic Kingdom, if you can delight in the comfort of swimming in tropical temperatures where not a bug or mosquito can cause havoc because the pool is completely screened with a safety fence for small children, if you can imagine laughter and joy as you vacation with your family, at a place that offers a host of amenities then you can imagine Terre Verde! Our booking was effortless, our arrangements were complimentary to our desire to experience a carefree vacation close to any and everything you could want or need. Disney- it was fabulous. The house was immaculate, and spacious. Plenty of area to dine, watch television, play video games, or just do absolutely nothing or everything….There was a minor problem with the air conditioning (clogged lines or something that caused a leak in the equipments closet) and the maintenance staff was very attentive in fixing it right away, we never suffered a loss of any comfort whatsoever. I would definitely recommend Home Away and our agent Winnie Cheung gets high marks for her gracious assistance- she made the difference and we would definitely go through her again- great experience for what a lot of us work so hard for….a vacation!

Modern, Nice, and Clean

We stayed about a week during the Thanksgiving holidays and the weather was absolutely perfect! The home was so clean and very nice. I loved the modern decor, which made me feel right at home. Close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, but also secluded in a nice gated subdivision. The owners were friendly and extremely pleasant to work with and responded to emails/phone calls very promptly. I would definitely recommend this villa and if ever in the Orlando area again, I will be staying here! Thank you so much!

Everything was perfect

We were stayed 8 nights at Hideaway Beach Villa, first of all property located at very secured and silent place (terra verde ) . Villa was in a good condition , all rooms decorated with very cosy and nice furnitures , kitchen equipped well , all linens was clean and good quality.All the machines and wireless working good (if you have any problem or question easy to reach Mr Marc ) . You may enjoy you sphare time with huge tv located on the family room and poll too . Very easy to reach the theme parks (disney ,universal , sea world ) We have highly recommended that property friends and whom searching clean and cosy villa .

Hideaway Villa

Recently spent 4 weeks at Hideaway Villa. A very enjoyable experience and the villa was comfortable with new owners who are working hard to offer amenities which make the stay enjoyable. Great living and dining areas, great pool and southerly exposure ensures sun from morning to evening. Beds, other than King in master suite, need some upgrading and this has been reported to the owner. The property is clean and well maintained and the owner and the company maintaining property were both responsive to minor issues in a timely manner. Terra Verde is a gated community with great amenities and lots of walking areas. Great, play area and common pool especially for children. Very friendly staff . Location of property on Kissimmee side of I 4 is ideal in terms of minimizing traffic snarls. Easy access to Disney, Sea World, Universal and golf. I have recommended the villa to friends.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

BEWARE !!!

They say first appearance is important and when we arrived to see overflowing trash cans all over the neighborhood , this was a disturbing impression. The house itself was fine. The heated pool was a joke , at no time was it warm enough to swim. there was no internet service at the house and the clubhouse had internet only occasionally. I still cant believe the bathrooms had a sign posted on the wall telling you to not flush your toilet paper and put it in your trash instead. Overall I'm not impressed.

We really wished "aj club" would have voiced their concerns during their stay as this is the first time we heard of any issues. It's unfortunate about the trash but the Holidays generates alot of trash. Wifi works so we believe it may be a laptop issue. Washroom signs have been fixed. It's difficult for pool heat pumps to work optimally in the exceptionally cold winter of 2009 in Orlando where temperatures went down below 32F. We aim to exceed expectations.

Home away from Home Vacation property

Thank you for a memorable vacation! There were 6 adults and 4 children in our party and there was still tons of space. This property cannot be faulted in any way! The furnishings were new and modern and very luxurious. There has been no expense spared by the owners of this villa and every conceivable extra has been provided to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You’ll find a huge flat screen TV in the family room (wish mine at home was as big), along with DVD’s, VCR and movies, books, something to keep the adults and kids busy for hours. After a hectic day of visiting the local attractions we enjoyed having the pool situated right in back of the house. It was a wonderful sanctuary for us, it was so nice to relax and a dip in the pool without having to trek off to a community pool and have other people hanging around. The screened in pool was a huge hit with my daughter....NO BUGS! There is a safety guard that keeps kids out of the pool when needed and the poolside BBQ which was included in the rental price. Staying in a Villa is so much easier than staying in a hotel. Having a washer and dryer right on the main floor of the house really saved us time (we could put on a load of laundry and take a swim) it saved us space in our suitcases. The property is situated on a small, peaceful, gated community that feels very safe and secure. The location suited us perfectly, it was far enough from the crowds, yet only 10-15 minutes from the Disney attractions. If you don’t feel like cooking, there are tons of restaurants close by to choose from. We had a fantastic time and will be coming back soon.
