Watch Dolphins swim by in Destin's largest gulf-front 1BR floor plan (1100 square feet). This newly renovated unit is located on the ground floor, just steps from the beach. In 2010 new 18 inch tile floors, wall texture and paint, soaking tub, walk-in shower, jack and Jill bathrooms, furniture, kitchen granite, lighting and plumbing fixtures, and a king size luxury mattress upgraded the unit to look brand new.
Cabana Club's beach is very wide, uncrowded and quiet...far away from public beaches and Destin's mondo condos.
Cabana Club is near everything including 790, Pompano Joe's, Whales Tail, Crab Shack and Capt. Dave's restaurants. It's an easy walk to the Crab Trap for dinner.
There are six golf courses within five minutes of Cabana Club.
Beach service is available, but unfortunately is not free. Please ask for service at the beach.
Cabana Club is located at Scenic Highway 98 at Crystal Beach, Destin’s most sought-after beach spot.
You are near shopping locations such as the new upscale Destin Commons (at the end of mid-Bay bridge) and Silver Shells outlet mall, amusement parks, and endless dining and entertainment options.
It comfortably sleeps 6 guests: two in the King sized master bed and four in the queen sized sofa sleepers. Wi-fi is available for free. It has two new flat screen TVs with BlueRay DVDs. The kitchen has newer appliances and beautiful stainless fixtures to complement the granite. New dining wear fully stock the cabinets.

Great location near enough to walk to Camille's for breakfast, Crab Trap for lunch and 790 for dinner. Loved the first floor location near the beach access--it was sooo convienent. Loved the paint colors!!!! The condo was immaculate; clean in every corner. The decor and paint colors made us so happy. We would stay here every time we come to Destin if it is open!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

I have somewhat missed feelings about the rental. For the most part everything was good, however, there were a few little things that soured the experience just a tad. First the good: Location is perfect. ON THE BEACH! No crossing the road to get to the beach. A+++++. No fighting over beach space. The number of units in complex to the amount of beachfront is great. You're on the east side of Destin, so you can stay away from the insane crowds and traffic closer to Destin proper. Also easy to get to 30A towns (where we visited a few times). Cabana Club seems to be kept up - The grounds were nice, clean, etc. The walkway to the beach was kept up, the hose to clean yourself and the beach toys worked well. The actual condo unit is on the first floor - No lugging things up and down! The patio was great - the view from the living room and patio is amazing. I like the paint colors, the rooms, the nice bathrooms, decor was nice. Kitchen had everything we needed. Washer and dryer worked well. The bad - I tend to think this is more the rental company rather than the owners. The owners did a nice job of making the place look nice - Here are the things that were issues. Floors were dirty - We went to Walmart the first night and got a Swiffer WetJet. The pads were pretty black by the time we were done. I know that it's the beach, and things get sandy and grimy, but if you're paying $125 cleaning fee, they should be able to make the floors nicer than they were. Garbage disposal was broken and patio sliding door lock was broken. A Southern Resorts repairman came out and got both to work, but until he did, the sink stunk REALLY bad and the door didn't lock. These weren't deal breakers, but it seems like things that should have been functioning properly before we moved into the property for the week. Paint - This is just a minor detail, but stange nonetheless. The condo has some great colors, but there must have been a bunch of places that needed touch up, and instead of getting the same sheen, all the touchups are done in satin, while the original wall was in flat (or reverse). Anyway, it makes the paint somewhat patchy. Again, not a huge deal, but if you're going to have a nice condo on the beach, you should keep it maintained nicely. I don't want to turn anyone off from renting this place, since the unit is nice and the location is amazing. I just hope this review is used to work out a few kinks that makes the experience that much better for the next person.

The experience was awesome for our family. The view through the sliding glass door was as beautiful as the pictures and the access to the beach was very convenient since the condo was on the lower level and close to the beach entrance. The location was close to shopping and golf. The property was newly decorated and very clean and I highly recommend this particular rental.
