“Our Getaway” at the Indies is just what you need!
The Indies is located miles away from crowded beaches, but only a short drive to unlimited shopping and activities. The beach is uncrowded with miles of undisturbed shore line for walking and exploring. The large heated pool is very nice with lots of lounge chairs for sunbathing. Additionally, the pool area has a kiddy pool and hot tub. We also have a fantastic roof top terrace to enjoy the view of the gulf and bay, or just relax and read a book. Two well equipped fitness rooms are available for our guests.
Our spacious condo comfortably sleeps seven. The master bedroom is private with a king size bed. The in-suite bathroom has a garden tub , separate shower, and two sinks. Additionally, the master has access to the balcony and a view of the gulf.
The second bedroom, with a view of Mobile Bay, has a queen bed with private bathroom.
The third befroom has a twin and full bed with its own private bath.
Each of the bedrooms has a TV and DVD. Additionally, the living room has a sleeper-sofa for extra guests.
Our condo is very nicely furnished and decorated with bright beach colors. The living area is quite large and has a beautiful view of the gulf. The patio wraps around the entire living area and master bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped. The dining area seats six with no crowding.
We are located on the second floor so there is no need to wait on an elevator.
Enjoy some wine and the beautiful sunset from the rooftop terrace, take a dip in the large heated pool with cascading water fall, go for a long walk on the undeveloped beaches of Fort Morgan, or just enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf from the large wrap around balcony. What ever you choose to do you will enjoy your stay at our condo.

Why the Owner Chose The Indies
We found our condo at The Indies in 2009 and fell in love with the location and condo. The large open condo is perfect for our large family. Looking out over the pastel houses at the Gulf actually does give you a feeling of a tropical resort. Additionally, the miles of unspoiled beaches on the Ft. Morgan property can't be found in many places.

The roof top terrace is a wonderful place to go in the evening to watch the sunset and enjoy a glass of wine.

We LOVED the condo...it was great for our family! Very spacious and beautifully decorated! The surrounding community of beach houses were beautiful and the beaches were breathtaking. This is a beautiful condo in an equally beautiful setting. It is somewhat secluded so there is no problem with traffic (autos or people.) Walking to the beach is an easy 5 minutes. Beautiful white sandy beach, never crowded and bountiful in dolphins, crabs, jelly fish (careful!), etc. Kids loved this place. The condo itself was very, very nice. The kitchen is outfitted with every (and I mean every) utensil desireable. And, it all worked! We recommend this condo to anyone.

This was the nicest beach vacation our family has ever taken. The condo had everything that was listed and more. This is one condo that a person could fly into Gulf Shores and have everything they need for their vacation at the condo. We will be calling to set up more vacations with Rick Tice. He was great to work with. Thanks for a vacation that we will never forget.

This corner unit in the Indies was magical, with gorgeous views and tranquil furnishings. I took my parents and three boys and we had plenty of space with lots of privacy. The kitchen is stocked so well there was nothing we needed! Being on the second floor we had an easy walk to the pool or the beach.

Beautiful view from the condo. The condo itself had great furnishings. We travelled with two other couples who rented from an agency and they didn't have nearly as nice a place as we had. Mr. Tice was very easy to work with, didn't have to meet anyone at a certain time or place which can be a hassle if you are travelling a distance. Use of the beach cart was another big plus. Beautiful place away from the crowds, a very natural setting (Dolphins swimming by every day, pelicans flying all around, sea turtle nesting area). Loved it and will definitely rent here again.

My family stayed at the Indies last week and it was our best vacation so far. The condo is extremely spacious and has lots of extras. We loved the huge master bedroom with spa tub. It was nice that each room has it's own bathroom and a walk around balcony from the bedroom to living room. The rooftop terrace is amazing! We have vacationed at many places on the gulf coast and this is definitely the best. We took the ferry home and had no problems, we ate some delicious meals across the street at Tacky Jacks 2, we enjoyed all the amenities. It was a pleasure renting from such nice people and such an outstanding condo. Our only problem was we enjoyed it too much and it we didn't want to leave.

My family and I spent a wonderful spring break week in the Indies 210. Mr. Tice was SO nice to work with, taking time to answer my many questions on the phone and sending keys, parking pass, etc. weeks before our trip. He allows renters to use his beach chairs, cart, umbrella and the huge owners closet which is great for storage. The condo was much bigger than I expected, was nicely furnished, had a TV/DVD in every room and was clean and well kept. We loved the oversized balcony this unit has because it is on the end. The weather was a little challenging (cool and extremely windy) so we ended up looking for things to do other than the beach/pool. My 2, 4, 6 & 8 year olds loved the small but impressive AL Gulf Shores Zoo, the USS Alabama Battlefield Park and we all especially enjoyed Bellingrath Gardens which is only 20 minutes away (not including the Ferry ride). We also rode our bikes to the Fort Morgan ruins and the nearby bird watching trail and the kids really enjoyed that as well. Overall we had a great trip. The Indies is a bit out of the way but we loved that - it is a very relaxing laid back community of condos and beach houses. There were mostly families on the beach which was nice for spring break. We definitely recommend a trip to the Indies 210! The only tip I would offer is to not depend on the ferry running a tight schedule. Although Mr. Tice's directions correctly sent us on the Gulf Shores Parkway (not on the ferry), we decided to follow our navigation system further south on I-65 (as many others we spoke to did) and ended up two miles from the condo but with a 1+ hour wait on the 30 minute ferry ride! We also found the ferry closed one day due to high winds and one afternoon due to maintenance so we had to drive 1.5 hours around to get to Bellingrath Gardens. On the way back we were the LAST car on the LAST ferry of the day. We were all holding our breath to see if we would make it on - would have been a LONG ride back around!
