Desert Falls Country Club is a gated community in Palm Desert, California located across from the Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa. The Desert Falls Country Club has 25 swimming pools, including two salt water pools. It has a magnificent golf course and clubhouse with dining facilities, lighted tennis courts, racquetball, and a complete fitness center. The 7,000 yard, links-style par 72, championship course is considered to be one of the best courses in the desert.
You will stay in a newly-furnished, second-story, non-smoking, golf course condo. It has 1330 square feet of open floorplan with vaulted ceilings in both the living and dining rooms with a gas fireplace and wet bar. There is newly installed tile flooring and ceiling fans throughout. The master bedroom has a Cal/King-size bed with its own private two-sink bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds with its own private bath. There is also a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room and a new washer & dryer in the utility room. There are two private decks, one of which overlooks the par three, 12th hole. A perfect place to view the setting sun.
For entertainment and leisure activities you are close to everything. Shopping at El Paseo Drive, Shopping Center across the street, Costco, and Cinemas, as well as many fine restaurants.

Thanks for our enjoyable stay! As advertised and more. The weather was nearly perfect for the week and we enjoyed the access to golf and many nearby restaurants. Thanks again PS- We'll be back!

What an unfortunate end to a pretty good stay. We (the wind) broke the umbrella; we emailed & called the owner prior to our departure to adivse. We replaced the umbrella, with what we considered to be of equal / or better quality - which we paid cash for and left the receipt. I was told they would be visiting soon and would call me. Unfortunately there was no call - so after 30 days of not receiving our damage deposit, I emailed a friendly follow up. There was no repsonse; we waited a couple of weeks and emailed again - and unfortunately still no reponse. We may not have liked the answer had we gotten one, but it sure makes me think it was a scam to begin with. The funny thing is we were warned to ensure we put the umbrella down at night - which is good advise in Palm Dessert and therefore adhered to; this actually happened at 3:00 in the afternoon when we were sitting outside - in a relatively calm setting and the wind took it away over the patio. I somehow don't think we should get stuck with both the damage deposit not being refunded and the cost of the umbrella we replaced. We have had such good experiences with VRBO in the past - this one is a shocker.

This condo is indeed well furnished with tasteful decor. The location is great in that you have plenty of sun on the patio with the golf course and mountains in view. We really enjoyed our stay.
