Price was the selling point. But the SERVICE IS OVER THE TOP. Dan Rogers is incredible, the man will take care of any need you have. Ask and he will find it. TOOK GREAT CARE of everything. We highly recommend this property.

This house is exactly as listed. Beautiful and plenty of room for everyone. Great rate! We enjoyed our stay and Dan was great at getting anything we needed. The fireplace in the living room was great for making smores when the weather outside was a little too cool and windy. The beach is a short walk from the house. The only thing that needs improvement is more kitchen utensils and hand towels.

The house was perfect! The sea was great and the food was awsome! Dan Rogers is the best property manager ever! We needed a vet while we were there. He not only found a vet, but took us there and went back the next day to pick up our dog. He even made a tequila mix run for us! We will rent this house again!

I had a great time staying at this place. Every went as planned except when I returned home and asked for my deposit. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard from the owner. I was told by Dan that I would get my deposit back a week after I left. I have sent the owner several email regarding this incident but haven't received any feedback about this problem.

We went to Rocky Point in August & stayed in Las Conchas, had the best time of our lives. We never stayed in Las Conchas and found out it was awesome. First we meet Dan and Christine at the house, then later we became best of friends, sharing great ideas with each other. We got down there and the first thing we did was go for a happy hour up the road at a place called Bryan's Sport Grill-it's a nice place to go for food and drinks. Every day Dan the awesome man was checking up on us and giving us privacy at the same time. We had great chats and learned more about Rocky point then we ever knew. These folks are great poeple and respect you too. They both made us feel welcome at their rental homes. They are wonderful people to have happy hour with or a chat or anything . I would recommend this place for a anytime vacation, for a romatic getaway, or just a great place to have fun at the beach. Thank you Dan & Christine for a great house and a great time in rocky point !!!! We will be back soon. Best regards James & Melinda

We stayed at this property for one month in July/August 2012. LOCATION: This property is a couple of miles outside of town. Due to roads/traffic, it is an easy bike or car ride to the essentials (grocery, water, restaurants). It is a 5-10 minute walk to the ocean. The first half on a road, the second half on loose sand. If you look close, you can see the ocean from the property, but don't expect to hear the surf or see waves breaking. FACILITIES: The property is relatively new and well maintained. The ground floor contains the 1 car garage, entryway, laundry, mastersuite, smaller bedroom, bathroom, and an open area they call a den. The upstairs contains the other mastersuite, 1/2 bathroom, and the combination living/dining/kitchen. The roof holds the margarita deck (great 360 degree view of the desert and city lights). Overall, very comfortable for 6 adults as long as you don't mind the stair climbing (we didn't). AMENITIES: Very basic. Could use a better TV, blender, etc. But, hey, we went for the beach, so it worked out just fine. The best amenity is the "caretaker" Dan. He lives in an adjoining unit and will gladly tell you whatever you need to know about Rocky Point. OVERALL: The house is very comfortable, but the distance to the beach is a little disappointing. But it is priced accordingly. For us, the price is worth the walk, and we will definitely be back!

Place is not luxurious, but is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, located a few minutes by foot from the beach, a few minutes by car from RP center. Property manager Dan took great pains to ensure that we were comfortably installed, provided excellent information and advice about the town and surrounding area, and responded with all-out assistance in resolving a minor crisis on the last day of our stay. He's a star! I don't know what they're paying him, but whatever it is, it isn't enough. Security is good, development is well-patrolled and all the staff seem to speak passable English. Value received for the very reasonable price paid was outstanding - our entire family was very, very pleased, and we will certainly stay here again on our next visit.

We just returned from our stay in this beautiful home. Although it was not right on the beach like the last place we stayed in Las Conchas, it was CLEANER and CHEAPER. It's only a 3 minute walk down to the beach. Furthermore, Dan, the Property Manager, is truly a sweet heart. He is always there to do anything he can to make your stay more enjoyable. For example, he dropped a Watermelon off for us free of charge. It was also my birthday and he arranged with my wife to get a cake delivered to the restaurant that same evening. We thought he would just call and have a cake delivered - little did we know that he personally ordered the cake, picked it up for us, delivered it to the restaurant and tipped the waiter for us! Now that's impeccable service. The home is two levels - the downstairs has a master bedroom and a smaller bedroom with two beds. There are two bathrooms downstairs. The garage, as well as the laundry room is downstairs as well. Upstairs is the living room, kitchen, dining area with a beautiful table, 2nd master bedroom with a beautiful dome ceiling. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Dan made sure we could get on the internet - which was not the case the last place we stayed. This place is a steal and you will really enjoy yourself.

I'm not sure where to start, because where do you start with such impeccable service?!!! Oh, I remember now....you would start with the outstanding Property Manager for this great area! We've never actually stayed in this 'exact' property, but one call or email to Dan and we always seem to get into any one of his great properties...and he always is more than accomodating....always available for special requests and has a wealth of information about ANYTHING in the area. My wife and I have really never seen anything like it...and he is consistently solid on all fronts. We always stay in Las Conchas @ one of his properties and don't really want to stay anywhere else. I believe we've stayed in 3 different properties (about 5 different times) and ALL are superb, the very definition of a great vacation in Rocky Point. Dan seems to remember things and events about our prior stays that even we don't remember...ha!!...Margaritas anyone?!! Seriously, I told him my wife was graduating Nursing School soon...and he remembered...and even came through w/a personal gift just for that! Wow! Every property we've stayed has been well taken care of...with all the amenities you need, and as everyone has mentioned in prior posts....all his properties that I know of, including this one, seem to be very close to the beach......best beach in R.P., hands down!! I could go on and on with specifics and more accolades about Dan and his properties, but you need not look any further! Stop your search and give him a call now.....you will not be disappointed!! Cheers!

We came down and spend a week in Las Conchas for our spring break and everyone has been raving about it since. We chose to stay in the house here because of the favorable reviews regarding Dan, the property manager, and we were not disappointed! Upon out arrival Dan greeted up and showed us around the place. It was clean and tidy and we were really impressed with all of the space there was, as well as the amenities. Dan was kind enough to give us an over view of things to do in the area as well as tips and directions to places to get food and buy groceries. Later on in the week Dan actually came into town with us and showed us all around so that we wouldn't get lost, but also to point out some great places. Besides being helpful with information, Dan also was able to supply us with many things we were in need of. On our first day at the beach he surprised us by bringing down some beach chairs because he had noticed that we didn't have any. He also provided us with some shovels for sand castles, snorkeling gear, and on out last night he supplied some firewood and a grill plate so we could cook from fresh shrimp on the beach! Needles to say we all hope to come back at some point in the future. The rates are economical, the location is wonderful, and the service is excellent.

This is our third stay in the home which are managed by Dan . Each time, we have had a wonderful experience. This past weekend we rented 3 homes while doing a mission trip to Rocky Point. Dan was the most accommodating person I have ever met. He went above and beyond his job as a property manager and helped us with our border crossing, all of the supplies that we needed when we arrived and was just amazingly helpful with anything that we needed. The properties were spotless when we arrived, everything was in perfect working order and our weekend mission trip went extremely well. With an average of 8 people per home, Dan thought of our every need and then some! I would not stay anywhere else when traveling to Puerto Penasco. The drive is easy from the border and I felt very safe the entire time I was there. Thank you Dan!

What a wonderful family experience at the Beach!!!

We rented this Las Conchas home for 45 days from February 23 through April 8th..I can not say enough about the hospitality and amenities that were provided. The property manager is Dan Rogers, who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and that our stay was "our home away from home"...no kidding...Dan and Christine are the BEST! Mention that you need a blender, air bed, purified water, children's swimming pool, etc...and within a short time it is on your deck!! Need advice about anything regarding Rocky Point, Dan will happily provide you any advice and assistance...he is a true property manager and now a friend...The house was perfect...we had everything we needed...we were afraid that we would be disappointed, but in fact, we were pleasantly surprised...The houses are new..well maintained and clean...no need to bring anything except food, sunscreen, and cerveza!! The houses are a short 4 minute walk from the beach and right next to estuary trails...There are decks on the front of the house with a margarita deck on the roof...There was plenty of room in the garage to store all our toys for over a month long visit... we have since come back for a week stay at the end of May...I would highly recommend this property to large families with kids as well as couples looking for a get-away...Although the rental homes are close together..they are well-insulated. We never heard any of our neighbors. The multi-media ammenities are a definite plus. There is high speed wi-fi internet which was great as our cell-phones connected easily to the network and we were able to use our cell phones for local calling to the USA using wifi calling at no charge...There is Direct TV with many movie channels for relaxing after a day at the beach. Las Conchas is a great beach community for a vacation...the beach is clean and uncrowded...Although there are some vendors on the beach, they are significantly less annoying then beaches in town...And lastly, the price of this rental is fantastic...you get more than your monies worth...obviously we love this place and have already rented again and have told other family and friends about this rental (they have also rented and loved it)...

Dan makes this place worth renting!

We would not have even ventured into Puerto Penasco for the winter if it weren't for Dan, the manager, who was so helpful before we even arrived! We had never driven into Mexico and we were nervous because of all the media hype, but Dan told us what route to take and what to expect along the way. We are so glad we did! Puerto Penasco is a safe, friendly town that has been hit hard by the US economy and bad press about Mexico. We spent three months renting a luxury house from Dan and his wife Christine, and we really enjoyed having them as neighbours, as well as all the local advice and tips they share about Rocky Point. If we needed something, like a turkey baster, or oregano, Dan would provide it in a flash! They helped us immensely during our time here, from picking up our mail in Lukeville to getting us extra sheets when we had company visiting. Outside the usual holidays, the beaches are quiet (we would go to the beach daily but not see anyone else for days, so miles of white sandy beach to yourselves with just dolphins going past every day!). Our two large dogs were welcomed by Dan and Christine too, they even took them out for walks when we went to Phoenix for the day! The house has everything you need, and if you're missing something, you just mention it to Dan and it appears on your doorstep - what a great host, wish you lived next door to us in Canada (we will miss watching the sun set from the rooftop). You're not going to find a better deal on a luxury house rental in Puerto Penasco, and we plan to visit next winter! Thank you both so much for the outstanding hospitality!

Perfect Birthday Getaway

This was a trip to celebrate our daughters' birthdays, one turning 20 and the other turning 1. Our older daughter lives in Boston and does not get to spend time with her little sister that much so this was a very special trip for all of us. The home felt spotlessly clean and was very spacious. This trip, however, was made fantastic by Dan and his wife. Talk about Hospitality! My husband and I work in the hospitality industry and have high standards and Dan blew us away. He was very attentive and caring and ensured that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. He even found us on the beach to bring us beach chairs. Highly recommend getting a property managed by Dan to anybody going to the area. Thank you Dan for your hospitality :)

best place to stay in rocky point

We have been travelling to Rocky Point for 20 years and have stayed in many different houses. Since finding Dan's rentals, we will not stay anyplace else. Dan is the best host we have stayed with in any VRBO rental anywhere, and the four houses he manages are lovely and spacious, with many amenities that are not typical in Rocky Point, including Direct TV, wi-fi, efficient air conditioning, and bottled drinking water. We love the layout of the houses: 2 BRs and 2 BAs are downstairs, with the open living, dining, and kitchen area, a balcony, and large BR and 1.5 BAs on the 2nd floor. The roof is a huge margarita deck with 360-degree views of ocean, city lights, and mountains. The houses are an easy stroll to the lovely, uncrowded beach. You won't be bothered by racing quads or fireworks here. The neighborhood is home to nesting sea eagles in summer, and we have seen dolphins each time we've visited. The Estuary de Morua is easily accessible, and is a wonderful place to snorkel, kayak, and watch birds. A short drive down the road brings you to the CET-MAR aquarium, small but interesting and with a terrific collection of huge sea turtles that you can feed. Both the old port and the newer parts of Rocky Point are a ten-minute drive from the houses, and offer shopping and restaurants. Dan is amazing. He knows the area well and will provide information and directions to anyplace you want to go. He is always cheerful and friendly. He can fix seemingly anything, and has everything you need on hand--if you are short a beach umbrella or chair, just ask. On our most recent visit--last week--Dan drove with us to the Estuary to show us the nearest access, and fixed my kayak paddle--the two halves had gotten stuck together with sand. Not only did he get it apart, but he oiled it and repainted the parts of the shaft that had gotten scratched! He really is one of the nicest, most generous people I've ever met. It makes all the difference to have such a wonderful manager on site. We always feel safe and well cared for when we stay with Dan.

Wow!!!! We had the best experience yet! The house was beautiful. We had a large group and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. Dan was Awesome! The nicest most helpful person I've met. He went out of his way to make sure everything went well! I highly reccomend these homes to almost anyone!!

Just got back from Rocky Point and would highly recommend this property. The house was just great, it was clean,comfortable and had all the amenites anybody could ask for.It was picture perfect, just as described. Dan, the property manager made our stay, he was helpful,accomodating and made us feel really welcome.I would recommend this property to all my friends and family,I have stayed at quite a few homes in Rocky Point but this was my best experience and will definatly be back--See you in May Dan.

The house was easy to find. The house was just like in the picture, everything worked. We had no problems. Dan Rogers the property manager was a great help, from the moment we spoke over the phone till we left. He made our stay the best. I will definitley recommend this property to friends and family. This was my wife and I's first trip to Rocky Point, and we won't be staying anywhere else in the future. The house was perfect. It was beautiful and only a short stroll from the beach. It had everything we needed and more. DirecTV, wireless internet, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen (we cooked several meals at home), etc. It was a fantastic weekend at the beach. The only hiccup came when we were packing to leave and found our car battery was dead. Dan and Jimmy went out of their way to help us. Not only did they drive us to the auto parts store (and translate for us!) to get us a new battery, they also hooked us up with a friend of theirs that was traveling back to PHX that day so they could follow us back in case we had any other problems. I think we'd still be stuck in Mexico without their help. I couldn't recommend them and their property any higher. Thank you for your help. We'll be staying there again the next time we visit Rocky Point.
