Master bedroom is carpeted and has a beautiful king-size bed with floor to ceiling glass doors opening out to the balcony, capturing all the ocean views possible. It doesn't get any more private than this! Large master private bath.
Guest bedroom has a queen size bed with bath. Third bedroom is a cozy bunk room. Full size washer and dryer with plenty of large closets for storage.
The kitchen is fully equipped with breakfast bar and granite countertops making fixing that shrimp boil a delight. Watch the dolphins swim by as you prepare your meals or have an evening cocktail! Second year to vacation here and every bit as great as the first! Beautiful place (even better than the photos), right on the beach, very clean with a well-appointed kitchen and a nice balcony. Prefer Okaloosa Island as it is a little out of the fray but close to Destin if a bit more action is desired! Really a super place to vacation with your family.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

I can highly recommend this property. I stayed here with my family 7/18/10-7/25/10 and had a wonderful time. The condo is beautifully decorated and well-appointed, right down to beach towels and all the kitchen utensils you could need. And it could not be more "right on the beach", with gorgeous views of the ocean from the den/kitchen area and the master suite. Additionally, the beach was just as I had hoped for - beautiful powder white sand and emerald water with no oil in sight. We did not see any evidence of oil, in fact, not in the water or on the sand or on our swim suits. It is my understanding that the beaches and the water are being closely monitored by authorities, but we encountered no oil or evidence thereof. Again, great place. Get there as soon as you can!

Just completed our wonderful & relaxing vacation at Sea Dunes on Okaloosa Island, 6/17/10. The accomodations were everything promised in the VRBO listing--sparkling clean, well-organized & fully-stocked kitchen. (We cooked dinner most nights). There are flat screen TV/DVD's in every room, even the bunk bed room! I-Pod dock & VCR in the living room. Wonderful large covered balcony overlooking the beach -- catches the ocean breezes & pleasant to sit out on, even in the heat of the day. Worried about whether the oil spill will ruin your vacation? Not in Okaloosa -- the local community is determined to keep these beaches as clean & white as they've always been. Oil splatters rolled in with a thunderstorm this past week, and the next morning cleaning crews were out scooping up every visible piece. By l0:00 am, the beach was clean again. As we entered the water, there were a number of little tar balls floating just above the sand. However, 5 feet from shore (which is only knee-high water), the tar balls were few & far between. Walking out from shore, you are still only in chest-deep water at 20 yards from shore. You can clearly see your feet through the crystal-clear water, and easily avoid stepping on any small little brown tar balls you might see. AND -- there is NO SMELL!!! I'm extremely sensitive to odors, and there just isn't any on these beaches. Coming from our beaches in Texas, the Okaloosa beach is GORGEOUS! No trash, no bottles, no seaweed, and no jellyfish! Just beautiful white sugar sand, and crystal clear turquoise water. Don't let the sensationalist news media convince you to cancel your vacation--you will be so glad you came!
