Upon entering the villa, the first thing you notice is the striking indoor pool under sky lights. It is all framed by the breathtaking view through the floor to ceiling sliding windows. Walk through the big room onto the spacious deck, grab a lounge chair and a cool drink and watch the sailboats drift by. Or simply relax in the jacuzzi. The villa's hospitable great room offers luxurious comfort. A modern kitchen features bamboo and mahogany cabinetry with granite counters. The formal dining area reflects the fine eye for detail carried throughout this villa. All 3 air conditioned bedrooms contain a seating area furnished with unique accents as well as a spacious bathroom, 2 of which have outdoor showers.
In just a short driving distance is the town of Cruz Bay with lovely shops, wonderful restaurants and access to all kinds of water sports. Glorious, world acclaimed beaches are a short drive away. Snorkeling, para-sailing, hiking, it's all right here.
The best part of the island is that it is 2/3 national park, so it is unspoiled tropical forest, absolutely gorgeous.

Year Purchased: 1998
We live in Manhattan Beach, CA. We have 4 grown children and 1 grandson, hoping for a few more grandchildren in the future! Skip is CEO/Chairman of a magazine publishing company and also produces consumer shows. He has offices all over the country so travels a lot. Paula joins him when she can. When it's time to relax, we head to the beautiful island of St John. We love it and are sure you will too. See you there!
Why the Owner Chose Great Cruz Bay
We chose St John because of its gorgeous, world acclaimed beaches and its seclusion. It is 2/3 national forest which is protected and cannot be developed, so the island will never be overpopulated. The locals are very friendly and welcoming. The island offers wonderful, upscale restaurants as well as cozy, casual eateries. We love to go sailing, snorkeling and just relax on the beach, enjoying spectacular views. Everywhere you go on this island, you will be astounded at the breathtaking vistas, it is truly paradise!
