Becky& Davey's cabin in Jackson was just what we needed! It is close enough to all of the local attractions to take advantage of them if you would like to, but nestled in the woods off of a side road so that it felt very private. It was well appointed, had everything we needed and we are looking forward to our next visit!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We stayed at the log cabin for a long weekend in January and it absolutely surpassed our expectations. Almost immediately we felt transported away from the chaos of daily life. The location was perfect- close to the slopes & a number of restaurants. At the same time the cabin was the perfect place to cook a meal and stay in. The hot tub was also always nice and warm despite the below-freezing weather. We can't wait to go back!Owner response: Thanks Gabrielle...it was so nice to meet you and we are glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. We hope to see you again soon! Becky & Davey

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend at the log cabin despite the very cold temps that arrived with the cold Arctic air. We found Becky easy to deal with during the booking and she showed us around the cabin including how to use the pellet stove which provided all the heat we needed. We spent the days snow shoeing and the hot tub felt like heaven after a day out. The log cabin was very clean with an excellent location close to many slopes and cross country trails within fifteen minutes. The kitchen is well equipped and looking forward to coming back next winterRecommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We had another fantastic weekend at the cabin. We stayed here last year too, and have found it's the perfect size and has everything we need for our annual ski trip. Hot tub, fantastic kitchen, comfortable beds, pellet stove heat and extremely clean. Hope at some point to be able to stay longer. This is the quintessential log cabin without giving up all the modern amenities.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Very lovely, impeccably clean and cozy rental. Could have used a bit more detail on running the pellet heater stove, but I have a habit according to my wife of not listening well. Becky cleared everything up with a quick phone call. Great customer service and beautiful cabin. Was impressed that the hosts stocked the fridge with condiments that many forget about. Would recommend Mountain Brew Pub and found "The Gear Doctor", a new business that repaired my snow shoes in a few hours. Who'd a thunk? Had a wonderful time and would definitely rent again. Good price for the area and easy access to Jackson XC Ski Center.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks Chip and Dawilla, We hope to see you again next year! Becky and Davey

Can't say enough wonderful things about this cabin and it's owner! So quaint and cozy! We went up for a long weekend of skiing and the cabin was the perfect place to return to after a long day! The pictures of this cabin on the rental site are nice, but when we arrived we found that in real it is even better. Extremely well equipped, amazing decoration, in one word everything you need for a perfect week-end and I hope for longer vacation! The rooms are big and very comfortable. After a good day of cross country ski (the trails in Jackson are very picturesque) the hut tube was so relaxing… Our son and his girlfriend from France, students in Boston, found also everything perfect We hope to be back in summer!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback Maria. Our guest's comfort and satisfaction mean everything to us.

When I arrived at this beautiful cabin nestled in the woods it was exactly as I had imagined. It was cozy and so romantic inside with everything you could ever need. It was a perfect weekend getaway!! The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and it felt like a home away from home.......Of course, my favorite part was the hot tub on the front porch which was a perfect way to end a long day. The owners Becky and her husband made us feel completely at ease and even provided entertainment at a local Pub. I can't wait to go back again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We live in Stow, Maine approximately 8 miles (as the crow flies) from our rental property. We have three kids, two in college. We are avid skiers and have lived in the Mount Washington Valley for over 20 years.
Why the Owner Chose Jackson:
This will be our retirement home once all the kids have left the nest. We were married in Jackson and always wanted to move here. The cabin is in a perfect location, only 2 miles from Black Mountain, 8 miles from Wildcat, 5 miles to Attitash and a mile to the village.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
This is the ultimate romantic and cozy log cabin, once featured on the cover of an L.L. Bean catalog. The property is perfectly located in a quaint New England village, with covered bridges, beautiful mountain views, great restaurants, only minutes to world-class x-country skiing and some of the best downhill skiing in the east. For the kids, Storyland is only 5 minutes away. The village of Jackson has many amenities which include two golf courses, ice skating, fishing and hiking trails. North Conway with its famous outlet shopping is only 15 minutes down the road.
