This thin peninsula of land is 1.5 miles south of downtown Annapolis with a direct view of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge some 6 miles distant. It is sandwiched between the Roads of Annapolis and Otter Lake with water views from every window in the home. Enjoy clear unencumbered moon rises to the southeast as well thunderstorms rolling in from the northwest.
You feel as if you live on a boat when staying on this property as birds, fish & wildlife circle about the place utilizing the waters & land as food supply and sanctuary. Visit the channel and walk through the reeds to the lake side & play in the shallows or just fish. The delicate sound of the light lapping water is prevalent as guests feel the cool freshness of slight breezes & sense subtle weather changes in this remarkable setting. Distant Navy and Annapolis town noises can be heard -- like the ringing of church bells, the light pop pop of the Midshipmen taking target practice at North Severn, the YP's puttering out on patrol or the whistling of the Osprey as they hunt and dive for fish.
The place is quiet & private or it can change to wildness facing the roar of a Nor'Easter full in the face as hard rain slaps at the windows. This place is truly a pleasure and a once in a lifetime experience of feeling the Bay in the Land of Pleasant Living.
