The Unique Benefits at this House
tranquility and beauty.
The street sign is missing, this is actaully Rt 126A, at the bottom of the hill after rounding a long curve on 1431.
This is where most people launch their larger boats. Small water craft can be launched two doors down near our lakhouse.
Don't worry, see pictures of the cove. Lake LBJ is constant level. If you click on satellite view, it looks like Google took this picture some years ago when lake had been lowered.
turn here, The Legends golf course is delightful, has two holes on the lake. Great views and fun place to play golf. Weekdays are not very crowded.
HEB Grocery store in Kingsland, also sells gas for cars, and propane gas for grills.

My family and I stayed at the lake house last weekend and had the best time! I can honestly say, we already have made some great family memories! My 2 little boys loved to fish right from the dock and had a blast. The view from the master bedroom was simply amazing! The house was very clean and just what we pictured a "lake house" to be! We we were impressed with the comfortable beds as well! There is something about being at the lake that is so relaxing, and this house definitely catered to that "relaxing" feeling! We rented a boat for the day as well and drove it from the Marina right to the backyard house dock in Chevy Cove. When we got hungry on the lake, we just tied the boat up, grabbed some lunch and went back out. We really could not have asked for a better time. The sunsets are to die for and property was very nice! The big trees overlooking the deck in the backyard are beautiful! We sat on the porch for hours just talking, enjoying ourselves and looking out over the lake. We were even mentioning that it felt like we were in New England from the view we had. It really was fabulous! We will be back again, very soon!

My family was fortunate enough to stay at this home for the month of July. This house is great for family vacations. Our teenage daughters had friends up throughout the month and the house never felt crowded. We loved cooking in the kitchen or grilling on the deck. The constant level lake was great. We fished, swam, and kyaked. The house is stocked with puzzels and board games that kept us busy when we were inside. We brought our small dog and she had a great time too. It was so nice having her with us rather than having to board her.
Owner response:Thanks Eliz for taking such good care of everything. Looking forward to having your family back again next year. Please see all 3 pages of photos at our main site www.x4.com and follow the links

Although the owner was friendly and I hate to say anything bad, this place was awful!! It's really a 1/2 trailer and 1/2 house pieced together. - literally! We all we were really shocked and very disappointed! The back bedroom was extremely hot, the house across the street is vacant, falling down and should be condemned! The entire neighborhood is trash... You really should be more honest with people and what they are renting! Although my family tried to make the best of our reunion, it was tough to get past the Deplorable conditions! I have rented more than 10 homes thru this site in the last few years and this was by far the worst and will never stay here again!
Owner response:Imagine my surprise upon receiving this review after 7 years of renting and having great feedback. My wife and I feel terrible that a guest wasn't satisfied. This house is our home which we bought 30 years ago and remodeled in 1985. My wife's family owns 3 homes in the neighborhood, her grandparents bought the first one back in the 1950's. Please call I'll tell you all about the neighbors, and the houses, and even the property values. I hope this review makes you curious to look at our online pictures of our lake house. You can view 3 long web pages each with many photos at our main lake house website at www dot x4 dot com. Also, please take a minute and read the 5-star favorable review titled "We stayed a month and still didn't want to go home!", as this was written by a guest who first came and did a walk through of our home in springtime before renting it for the entire month of July. Probably the most common praise we receive is because we have one of the larger shaded decks (over 1000 sf) you'll find on Lake LBJ. Please, please, please look at the photos, and compare our pricing.

We had a wonderful stay at your lovely lake house. We swam in the lake almost everyday. My stepson brought his kayak he took me out on it. He and his wife left on the kayak one evening at sunset and came back by moonlight. They said it was magical. We visited Longhorn Cavern and also took a scenic drive to Fredericksburg. One afternoon we went to The Slab. That was so much fun. We had perfect weather everyday.....well it was a bit hot but had no rain. We totally enjoyed the deck and looking out over the lake. What a fabulous view. I also loved the bedroom with the picture windows. What a view to wake up to. As you can tell, we had a great time. We would love to visit again. Thank you for sharing your lake house.

"Thanks for the use of your awesome house. The huge deck was amazing; perfect for celebrating a bachelor party. We made use of the dock by pulling a boat right up to the backyard (pretty cool). Although only an hour from Austin, the lifestyle is a world apart. By the way, if someone finds a platinum men’s wedding ring, my friend sure would be grateful. So would his wife." Thanks again
