This bright and comfortable home is cozy and ideal for relaxing holidays. The open plan living / dining / kitchen is comfortably furnished with comfortable leather couches and is bright with 3 doors leading out onto the decking surrounding the house fully equipped with relaxing patio furniture including a swing. The living room area has a vaulted ceiling with roof-lights over the stairwell ensuring bright cheerful daylight throughout the day.
There are two bedrooms downstairs, the master bedroom with en-suite shower-room as well as a second twin-room and the main bathroom with bath, shower, WHB and WC. Upstairs are two further twin-rooms and a 1/2 bathroom with WC and WHB. The house is fully equipped and there are board games, videos, DVD, CD/Stereo system as well as cable TV.
There is decking on three sides of the house and the garden is fully enclosed making it ideal for small children. The garden is beautifully planted with a variety of flowers and shrubs.
Overall, this is a fantastic comfortable well-equipped cosy home, located in a peaceful and rural location in the heard of Wicklow, the "Garden of Ireland", beside a wonderful beach, golf-courses, horse-riding but yet close to all of the fun, excitement, history and culture Dublin City has to offer.

Year Purchased: 2004
We are a family with four children aged between 6 and 11 and live in South County Dublin. We are all active - especially the kids!- and love the tennis, soccer, open space and fabulous beach and sand dunes in Brittas (year round!) as well as the cozy "family nights" playing games and chatting around the wood-burning stove in the lovely comfortable living room.
Why the Owner Chose Brittas Bay
We bought our holiday home in Brittas Bay in Co Wicklow (known as "The Garden of Ireland) in 2004 and have enjoyed fabulous relaxing summers and weekends in Brittas Bay since then. The house is in a prestigious gated complex with full time caretaker, 3 on site tennis courts, soccer pitch, sand volley ball court and an indoor club house with table tennis table, pool table and table-soccer table. Brittas Bay beach is about 5-mins walk from the house and is a fantastic 5-km stretch of sandy beach with extensive dunes ideal for walking any time of year. There are many golf clubs close-by including the famous European Club & Blainroe (both in Brittas Bay, about 5-mins drive from the house), Woodenbridge, Arklow, Powerscourt. One of the great advantages is that it is so accessible being only 1-hour south of Dublin which means that weekend breaks are possible.
