beautiful cabin - just as advertised
beautiful cabin - just as advertised
This cabin looks as special as it does in the pictures. We were only two seniors, would be great for another couple - two bedrooms/two baths - which seems to be difficult sometimes to find (the extra bath) This property is very quiet, tho off one of the main roads, actually as it turned out, really convenient to Cades Cove, apparently the most popular spot in the Smokey Mountain NP. Sorry I can't recommend the Gatlinburg area - bumper to bumper traffic and unless you plan to spend some time there - the ONLY parking we saw was for $10 a day. The IGA store is right down the street from the cabin - we, unfortunately, thought it would not be special, so we purchased most of our food in Maryville. The grocery store looked great, tho no liquor stores in Townsend. My only other suggestion, would be to arrive before dark - we were in a really small rental car - so small we could barely see over the hood to see the road, just really a short drive from the main road, but very narrow and dark, especially in a car you are not comfortable with. Very spacious and comfortable cabin, with everything we hoped for. (not sure why there were not any reviews - this concerned me somewhat)
