The Grand Palandger is a unique chalet perched on a steep slope overlooking Meribel in the heart of Les Trois Vallees. The centerpiece of the chalet is the living room, with its sunken fireplace and breathtaking panoramic views of Meribel and the surrounding valley through floor to ceiling windows.
This is a self-catering chalet with no live in staff. The kitchen has been recently refurbished and contains all the mod cons including trash compactor, dishwasher, fridge, double oven and stove.
The chalet sleeps 8, in four cozy wood-paneled bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, all recently refurbished. The rooms are bright with excellent views of the valley. There is also a small bedroom for two under the eaves that can be used for extra guests or kids.
There are two large terraces complete with tables, chairs and deck chairs for those who might wish to spend an afternoon in the sun on those long March days.
The bus stop is 2 mins from the chalet. The bus ride to the village is 10 mins. Alternatively, it's an easy stroll to the town.
Perhaps most importantly: the slopes are a 5 mins walk from the chalet and if the snow permits, you can even ski back to the front door.
