Beautiful home, inconventient location.

We stayed at this home during the first week of Jan. 2012. The homeowner was terrific to deal with and the home was beautiful and spacious for the seven of us. We chose this home because it was new and because each room had an ensuite and a tv. It is a very well equipped, luxurious home and the view is fabulous. The home is three levels so be prepared for plenty of stairs. The ski in/out access is not suitable for beginners so half of our party had to drive to the village each morning. That was disappointing. It should also be noted that the home is not within reasonable walking distance of the village by virtue of both the distance and the steep elevation of the road. This is the nicest home we have ever rented at Silver Star which, in our minds, makes up for the somewhat inconvenient location. We would stay there again.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My husband and I are renting this property for 7 weeks in November and December 2011. After almost 5 weeks here, I feel very comfortable writing a review on the property. The house is brand new, very well appointed and immaculately kept. It is very conveniently located for both downhill and cross country skiing. A groomed run is right behind the house, the Silver Star village center is a 4 minute drive away, the Sovereign Lake Lodge is an 8 minute drive away. The owner is extremely nice and always available, he could not have done more to make us feel welcome and at home. This is a very special property, which we are thoroughly enjoying and highly recommend!
