Accommodations:  Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Den, 1 Bath (Sleeps 4)

Reflections of TLC is an apartment utilizing the entire first floor of a 2 story home. There is approx 1000 sq ft- all laminate flooring. This was a custom built home with unique architecture in 1995. There are 3 outside areas of seating for reading or resting or eating. The flower garden in the back has seasonal blooms as well as a little view of the ocean through the trees. Pine trees are abundant and the home is positioned on a hill and is in a Tsunami safe level. The patio is private with a "chat" table seating for 4 and a large grill to use for meals.

The driveway will allow 2 cars to park easily and approach is clear. There are a few steps at front entry while the back/ side patio door is a one level entry. The drive may be used as a "drop off" for people with limitations in stair use. The laundry room is on the mid entry level. The bathroom is large enough for w/c or a walker access and the stool is of elevated height. There are NO hand rails and the bath is a tub/shower combo. There are double doors to the king bedroom which also has a sitting area . The sofa bed room/ den/ play area has pocket wall pull doors to create a private room. A piano is for anyone to play if desired.

The kitchen has new appliances as well as a double oven and full size microwave. The dining table will expand to seat 8. Upon request, special holiday dish sets available for your use. Basic cooking ingredients are provided/ oil, sugar, spices etc. Quality towels and bed linens are provided for your entire stay as needed. Laundry is done by owner but you may do personal laundry when you wish.

Pets also have their own blankets and towels with outdoor hose wash faucets at front entrance and side yard. Bowls and bowl mats are provided.

It is a short walk to the Tolovana Park Beach and a small market, bakery, Mo's and other restaurants.

  • This beautiful home was a perfect stay for my summer vacation. I walked the beach every morning and stopped at the local bakery for some very tasty treats on the way back. The backyard birds were wonderful ( I especially loved all the hummingbirds)and the flowers were dazzling. The dahlias were not yet in bloom, but I am looking forward to returning next year hoping to see them flower. I would recommend this house to anyone. You can use this as a base for all your coastal activities or stay in and just relax.
