Our stay at TLC was fabulous!! Everything we could possibly need was provided and more. Our 5 year old Jack Russell stayed there with us and she had everything she needed also! The home setting is very peaceful. Both the inside and outside are beautiful. We were greeted in the morning by the birds and the smell of the flowers. Our interests were in sightseeing and beach combing. Ralph and Toni provided us with daily ideas for our fun adventures! We will definitely be back to stay at Reflections of TLC!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We can't say enough good things about our stay at Reflections of TLC. It is even nicer than the photos show. We walked into the apartment and said, Oh, this is even nicer than I expected. It was immaculately clean and so welcoming. There was a bowl of fresh fruit on the snack bar, granola bars, trail mix, crackers and cookies on the counter top. Toni had several bouquets of fresh flowers throughout the apartment. It was all so lovely and cozy. We have enjoyed this vacation so very much. All the furnishings are beautiful and the king size bed in the master bedroom was so nice and comfortable. We nearly felt as if we were floating in the bed. It was wonderful. We used the wood stove and it was nice to stand close to it and warm ourselves like we used to when we were children. Ralph and Toni are such terrific hosts. They definitely pampered us. They helped us with planning places to go visit. I am definitely telling our friends about Reflections of TLC. Infact, we have already told 2 families they will just love it. We want to visit again in 2013. There are lots of places to visit. We visited Depoe Bay and went whale watching and did see a gray whale. That was so exciting. I was totally taken in when we went to Multomah Falls about 30 miles east of Portland. We also went and toured the Grotto in Portland. We went to Washington and saw Mt St. Helen's Volcanic site. It started snowing before we arrived so our stay there was brief due to the 1 1/2 inches of the accumulation of snow. It was a bit slick on a portion of road not too far on our way down. Ecola Park was absolutely beautiful with its many walking paths and view of the ocean. Haystack Rock is something to see. We would have walked out to it when the tide was low, but it was cool that day and we did not want our jeans wet. We applaude and appreciate Ralph's and Toni's committment to the apartment. What a blessing it was to spend our week there and hopefully next year also.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband, small dogs & I love Cannon Beach. The home is the very best, most welcoming home we've ever stayed at. As we said when we left, it's like we're visiting friends now. Toni & Ralph seem to think of everything including where to visit, hike, etc. They're a lovely, welcoming couple that are very happy to share their home & make it as comfortable as possible for all to enjoy. Thanks again, Toni & Ralph ! See you next year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This truly was one of the nicest most comfortable, clean stays we ever had in Cannon Beach. It had anything you would ever need in a rental. Slept like a baby. The outdoor area was perfect for our little chihuahua. Walk to beach took 5 minutes. We will be back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are grateful for our guests and hope we can continue to offer just what we would like to see in a rental-and yes we do try to pay attention to the little details that hopefully will make the vacation a pleasure. It is also beneficial for us to be open with questions and concerns before arrival. Thanks and we look forward to 2013 reservations. Toni and Ralph

Our family spent 12 days at this home for our family vacation this year. It was our first trip to Cannon Beach. We were greeted with such hospitality. The details of the needs of a family (and a pet) were carefully considered. We came very exhausted and worn out from life and left so rested...our children wanted to stay! We enjoyed being just outside the busy tourism of Cannon Beach shopping district, but still within walking distance of the beaches and shops/restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. I joked with the owners that I never have good luck booking online for hotels, but that I did amazing finding this one! We grilled and ate at the home. We relaxed inside and out on the patio. We will be booking again since our whole family agreed we needed to make this home a regular vacation spot! And we thoroughly enjoyed our time with the owners...they gave great tips of things to do and see. I we couldn't have loved our stay anymore than we did!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Not much has changed from our start up time of the rental home. We have continuity of ammenities with quality standards; cleanliness and attention to details and observing the current economy by having the same rates and fees. Our guests have been so in tune with helping us to maintain accessibility and flexibility for all. It is important to us to provide individual and unique preparation for your stay. It is also our goal to sense the level of our involvement for each guest. We planned our rental space as we would like to find it for ourselves! Thank you to all our guests- past, future and many returning ones!

Spent four nights at the beginning of Oct. It's definitely one of our favourite locations. It has the very best owners by far!! They truly think of everything one could want or need. A very short walk takes you to the beach and a longer walk will get you into town! Highly recommend to all especially pet owners or people with children!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We truly enjoyed the visit with the guests from Canada. We have had extremely good guests from Canada and other countries. Pets that accompany are wonderful for us to meet as well as children. This is a good location for privacy comfort as well as close to all activities. Again, we try to enhance each person's experience here with suggestions that are directed to their interest and goals of the vacation. We will continue to help with the planning as well as look forward to meeting more people and pets as well as children. Thanks! R and T

My husband and I were priveledged to spend the month of August 2011 at this warm and inviting home where we found it to be beautifully decorated with no detail missing from chefs kitchen to high quality linens. Toni and Ralph were such great hosts always helpful with wonderful suggestions to enjoy the Cannon Beach area to its fullest. We recommend this home and have found none as exceptional in our VRBO experience. We eagerly look forward to our return in 2012.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We continue to be appreciative of comments from our guests and strive to treat each visitor on an individual basis. We love the uniqueness of each. This area is so exciting during all 4 seasons- each has something new to offer. The sea is calming or exciting depending on the tide or month. The surrounding coastland always presents a variety of textures and views. Thank you all for considering our home as your base. Ralph and Toni Turkle

My husband and I stayed at this lovely vacation home to celebrate our wedding anniversary the last week in October and could not have hoped for a better accommodation. From the fresh flowers and fruit to the ready-to-use wood stove, the setting upon entering the apartment is inviting and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with top of the line cookware and appliances. Bed linens and bath towels are very high in quality. I loved that this apartment has a lot of windows with delightful views into the flower garden – a very peaceful setting. The apartment home is private, but the owners are just a phone call away if needed. Overall, Reflections of TLC has all the comforts of a fine Bed & Breakfast with the functionality of an apartment. I would recommend this home highly and look forward to returning. Ralph and Toni, thank you again for a very special week! Chris and Kathy Princeton, New JerseyRecommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Everyone is welcome and we try to meet the diverse needs of each person or family and their pet. Ralph has a lot of information and experience since moving to this area and can help with the planning of day trips out. He is very aware of tide charts and weather conditions. He has good beach combing areas if the guest is interested as well as hiking areas that are not the "routine" tourist areas. We enjoy the visit with guests when they are here and about their interests before arrival as well as special needs for the cooking or sleeping arrangements. People usually find that when it is time to go home they have several more places to see or restaurants to eat at or people to visit with. We look forward to the return of our guests and are glad they feel comfortable here- that is our goal in preparing the home for all. We were happy to have our New Jersey guests and know we have made friends. --Toni and Ralph and the ever present Bo Jangles (who actually owns the home! --she thinks)

Loved our stay here. Toni & Ralph were so accommodating. We were traveling with small dogs & Toni was checking to see if the yard was appropriate for them. I felt the dogs were VERY welcome, Its so nice as many say they allow pets but you don't feel so welcome when you arrive with them! The home is also very welcoming!! All on one floor & well equipped kitchen is an understatement . Fresh flowers & fruit were awaiting.Loved having a tv in the bedroom to "fall asleep to"!! A 5 minute walk gets you to the beach where you can walk for miles regardless of the tide. A great home & owners; we definitely palm on returning next fall.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Our guests (human and cannine) were great and seemed to enjoy our home. We love dogs and have had our labs and schnuazers in our life for 30 years. They all deserve some "tlc". We do try to have our home ready for VACATION the minute you arrive and attempt to anticipate the individual needs by phone requests or email conversation before arrival. Everyone is unique and we totally enjoy our diverse guests. Thank you to our Canadian friends and do hope to see again. Toni and Ralph Turkle (Bo Jangles also)

My husband and I stayed the week of Labor day. We felt the property far exceeded the pictures and description listed. We loved every minute of our stay and were sorry to have to go home. Ralph and Toni were the best hosts and went out of their way to make us so comfortable. The little touches of fresh flowers along with the fruit and snack baskets were so unexpected and appreciated. We hope to return in the future. It was so helpful that Ralph and Toni gave us tips on where to eat and places to visit. Anyone considering this property should jump at the chance.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We are so thrilled that our home is appreciated and guests can relax and not have to take extra time to research good places to visit. We are happy to welcome long term guests as a short stay is just not enough to transition into the "down time" We do offer more than the standard rentals. It is always rewarding to us to hear our guests enjoyed their stay. Thank you - We do remember each and every guest also. Privacy is a factor also in this somewhat out of the way area. We welcome return guests as we would great friends. Toni and Ralph

Our family (me, DW, DD 13, DS 2, and our dog Daisy) stayed here a week over the early summer. What a treat! The place is much bigger than it looked in the picures, actually very spacious and comfortable. Toni was so helpful and accomidating, she and Ralph helped us to find things to do and made sure we were comfortable yet didn't intrude and gave us plenty of privacy. TLC is in a nice residential area with an easy walk to the beach, about 7-10 minutes for us, though we usually drove. I highly recommend staying here (and hope to visit again soon!)Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: We enjoy each and every guest and wish them a great experience in the coastal community. We are grateful for the comments and hope our home can be a positive familiar space to revisit. The area is beautiful and exciting any time of year or season. Ralph and Toni

My hubby and I stayed here with our two dogs to celebrate our anniversary. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. We will never stay at another hotel again. This was an amazing retreat--quiet, cozy, relaxing, private, and close to the beach, a small market, and bakery. We walked the dogs down to the beach every morning and evening. My hubby ran to Ecola State Park and back virtually every day. I walked to the downtown several times. We took drives to Seaside, Gearhart and Astoria to the North and South to Garibaldi, Wheeler, Nehalem, and Manzanita. The home is immaculate, decorated nicely, the yard is neat, the birds are amazing, and the owners are present to help you out or leave you be, whatever you desire. The bed was so cozy and comfortable. The bed sheets, down comforter, towels, and bathrobes are of amazing, high quality. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay feel sumptuous. The kitchen is well-stocked. We found ourselves wanting to enjoy the inside of the home, as much as, spending time outside on the beach. We read, watched movies, and simply unwound. Oh, the coffee was GREAT. I chose this place because we wanted to stay in Cannon Beach and wanted a place that would be affordable and would allow us to bring our dogs. This place fit the bill! Honestly, we can't say enough good things about this place and the owners. I was leery of staying off the beaten track and not right on the ocean~however, this home has it all. It is located in a nice residential neighborhood where you can open the windows and hear the surf. If you are in any shape at all, you will find the short walk to the beach very, very easy. We plan to make this home an annual stay. We would recommend this place to family and friends.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Again, we thank our guests and continue to make improvements in ammenities as well as maintain our high standard of surroundings and care to the individual needs whether it be someone with children and / or family pet. We try to perceive what a traveler needs and if it is quiet and privacy-we strive for that also to make the vacation or time away valuable to them. Of course, we have had wonderful guests and enjoy meeting all. Toni & Ralph

This beautiful home was a perfect stay for my summer vacation. I walked the beach every morning and stopped at the local bakery for some very tasty treats on the way back. The backyard birds were wonderful ( I especially loved all the hummingbirds)and the flowers were dazzling. The dahlias were not yet in bloom, but I am looking forward to returning next year hoping to see them flower. I would recommend this house to anyone. You can use this as a base for all your coastal activities or stay in and just relax.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Our stay for the month of July was restful, exciting, cool and beautiful in every way. It was made pleasant to the max by our helpful, friendly and gracious hosts. We cannot find a negative thing to say about our stay. Russell enjoyed beach and timber hikes, birding (seven new species for me), as well as learning some history and geology of the area from Ralph. Joan enjoyed visiting, having tea with Toni and a bit of shopping too. We enjoyed Haystack Rock, the wonderful food at the local resturants and the teriffic museums in the area. We took day trips to Portland, Tillamook, Astoria, and Long Beach, WA. We'd very much like to return and enjoy it all over again with our very special new friends - Toni and Ralph.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Joan and Russell were our guests last month JULY 2010. We did have a great time with them and find that we always have something to learn from our new friends that visit. Hopefully we can always anticipate needs and help with the multitude of enjoyable activities that Cannon Beach area has to offer. They are welcome back any time- we try also to see each guest as an individual and respect their thoughts on how they wish to experience a great vacation or getaway. Winter months are also exciting and the scenery is beautiful in an entirely different way than summer. We are looking forward to Joan and Russell's return as well as other new guests.
