My sister's family and my family stayed in the two units. It was a great way to spend our time in Girdwood. We were close to the slope, but also close to the meadow for Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. We were able to cook some great meals, and spend time together with the great layout connecting the units. The rooms were comfortable, linens and kitchen more than adequate, and everything was clean.

A group of friends and I stayed here for a night and it was the easiest reservation I've ever made on homeaway. The condo is also close to everything in girdwood, and an easy walk to the day lodge and sitzmark at Alyeska which made our stay easy to get around to everything. The condo was stocked with towels which came in handy for using the awesome hot tub and sauna too. The management promptly responded to my inquiry and within a few hours of seeing the listing, my reservation was confirmed and I had all the instructions I needed to arrive and check in. Additionally the management very promptly refunded my security deposit after the stay. Thank you for helping us have a great weekend in Girdwood!

This was a clean, comfortable house in a very unique setting. We had 4 adults and it was a perfect fit for us to use as a center point for travel in Southeast.

I celebrated my Birthday at the Glacier Creek Lodge. I really enjoyed the experience in this beautiful location of a rain forest. The Lodge is located over a creek and the area is quiet, clean and relaxing. It can hold up to 6 people very comfortably and boasts a jacuzzi and sauna. My trip from Ireland was well worth the visit. I have now spent two long weekends at this house with two different groups of ladies. Once, in April and recently in July. It had everything we needed: space, warmth, close to long walks and hikes; close to the restaurants, some within walking distance. The hot tub and sauna was great both times. The running creek flowing under the house makes this house so unique and a wonderful Alaskan experience. I look forward to taking other friends and family to the Glacier Creek Lodge.

The house was very clean and comfortable. We were six women and never felt crowded. The house is appointed nicely. Kitchen well equiped. Easy walk into town and close to the Mt. Would recommend. Would stay again.

Our family enjoyed our stay, close to the lifts and cross country ski trails. Clean, colorful, exactly as advertised and the hot tub was my favorite spot! Lots of room to spread out. Nice open design, and lower bedroom is completely quiet and private.

Great place and great location right across the street from Moose Meadow. Comfortable bed and very enjoyable hot tub. We celebrated my birthday with dinner out at the Double Muskie and did a lot of skiing. Definitely will return at some point and would recommend Glacier Creek Lodge to friend and relatives.

Spent a ski-week at the house this past week. The house was just as advertised. Very clean and well taken care of. We didn't need to, but was within walking distance of the ski lodge. If looking to spend time skiing at Alyeska I would highly recommend. Owner was very responsive to questions.

The unit is roomy and very comfortable. There is a second attached apartment, but as the units are separated by the hot tub and sauna space we heard very little noise from our neighbors. The location is also good, we enjoyed being across from the open field and near the meadow which is great access for x-country skiing.

We stayed at this lovely property for a week in early September. It was a lovely home - clean, well-maintained with all the amenities described - and more. The beds were comfortable and all linens were supplied. I like the fact that labels are everywhere (light switches, thermostats, etc.) - especially in the kitchen so finding things was easy and replacing things easy too. We have our own rental place and will have to try this! We had functions to attend at Alyeska Resort and were only 2 minutes away - about as close as possible. We were happy to be able to have meals and sleep in our comfortable setting without the expense of the hotel. Hot tub was a great treat after hiking every day. Be sure to eat at Double Musky at least once!

It was a perfect spot for our family reunion. Roomy, comfortable, clean and all the extras we needed. The sauna and hot tub were well used after our day on the slopes. Spring break with 48 inches of fresh snow! Very convenient walk to the slopes. Thank you!

We rented this for my folks 50th wedding anniversary. It turned out to be just as we were hoping and the photos accurately depicted it. The owner was very helpful and responsive in their communication and we would definitely consider staying again. Girdwood is a beautiful setting and we enjoyed a great casual breakfast at The Bakery as well as a superb anniversary dinner at 7 Glaciers restaurant at the top of the Alyeska tram.

The location was perfect because some of us went downhill skiing and some of us went cross country skiing. We were only a couple blocks from Alyeska resort. We could cross country ski right out the front door and keep on going. I was here with my husband, two kids and my brother. The kids liked the loft and my brother could have privacy with the downstairs bedroom with his own bathroom. We all used the hot tub. We appreciated having cable and the dvd player. The only issue was the modem was attached to the phone, which was in an awkward place on the far counter. Maybe we just couldn't figure out how to move it? Otherwise, it was spacious and very comfortable. We got 3 feet of snow overnight, so we were glad they had a service to clear the driveway. It was an adventure! We would stay there again.

This home was tastefully decorated and the location is a perfect walk to and from the lifts. It is secluded I don't think we saw another person on the street. The beds are good which is very important for me and my back. The downstairs room which is a daylight basement is very nice with its own powder room. Two couples can stay quite comfortably. My son loved the open floor plan, landings and sleeping in the large upper level which is open but not a traditional loft. Even though it has stairs they have done a good job making it safe for younger children. I had a wonderful relaxing couples of days.

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving feast at this beautiful lodge. Everything you need to cook and serve a nice meal. Glacier Creek Lodge was just the right size for the 5 of us. I am ready to retire there! Thank you Makiko for being so accomodating!

For several years; a small group of us have spent "girls night out" here. We wouldn't stay any where else. Its the perfect place to build a great fire, and relax in the hot tub and sauna. Its beautifully furnished and the kitchen has everything to accommodate our buffet. At the end of our evening; the soothing sound of the creek; lulls us to sleep. Its the perfect "getaway" place for each of us to unwind and relax.

My family & I had a great time in this lodge! The house was clean & super comfortable!!! We wanted to stay whole month in there. My daughter loved "Loft" to sleep, I loved to cook in their kitchen and my husband loved to sit & relax in the sofa. Also "Hot tub" was awsome!!! We are definitely looking forward to stay again in the future.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was spacious and clean. Because of the smart layout of the house, one person can be quietly resting while someone else is watching TV or conversing. It was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen to cook your own meals. Conveniently located as well!

This is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are spacious. The kitchen is complete. The sauna and jacuzzi are a wonderful addition after a day on the slopes! We love that the slopes and cross country meadow are within walking distance! It's easy to find, near popular restaurants and really cozy and comfortable. It's a retreat away from home!
