Beautiful modern remodeled house on Mineral Springs Trail in Alpine Meadows. 3 Bedrooms (one large Master Bedroom with a King bed and a spacious private master bathroom, one with Queen bed, and one with a Twin over Double bunk bed and a sleeping loft). Additional full bath upstairs and half bath downstairs. All beds have down comforters and nice linens.
Also has a "mezzanine" area that can sleep people or double as a family room or office.
Very spacious modern kitchen with new stainless appliances, granite counter tops, and plenty of storage space. Hardwood floors throughout the main level, berber carpeting upstairs. The home is very open with a "great room" concept - open living dining and kitchen areas for a very social feeling. The living room is ceiling is open for two stories and has a large stone fireplace. Washer and Dryer in a separate room off of the kitchen. Two car garage attached.
There is an integrated sound system, plasma TV with DVD player and VCR. The back patio is great for BBQing and relaxing under the huge aspen trees. There is a seasonal stream at the rear of the property and can be heard from the master and living room.
In the Winter this home is ideally located with easy access to both Alpine Meadows Ski Resort and Squaw Valley Ski Resort only a couple miles away.
For Summer, this home is only a mile from the Truckee River and 4 miles to Lake Tahoe. One of the best hiking trails in the Lake Tahoe Area, the Five Lakes Trail, is just up the road. There is also access to several great mountain biking trails nearby - the Paige Meadows trail and Western States trail. There is horseback riding only a mile away - always a lot of fun for kids.

Why the Owner Chose Alpine Meadows
We love the outdoors and Tahoe is a great playground for us to escape to on the weekends. In the Winter we get access to multiple ski areas with 5 minutes (Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows). In the Summer we are only 4 miles to Lake Tahoe and less to the Truckee River! Tahoe is an ideal retreat for outdoor activities as there is fantastic mountain and road cycling, water skiing and boating, hiking and camping! We enjoy playing on the lake, hiking in Desolation Wilderness, and sipping cocktails on the deck at Sunnyside.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Newer house is clean and bright. Kitchen was remodeled in the Summer of 2009. Big 2-car garage for all the toys and to protect the cars in the winter. Great mountain views and patio under huge quaking aspens.
