A 20-minute drive North of Winterplace and a 25-minute drive south of New River whitewater rafting(3 min. from 2 major interstates), Journey's End is located on the fringe of historic uptown Beckley, in a quiet, private neighborhood with plenty of off-street parking and lighted security. Just a five-minute walk from Mountain State University and historic district shops and restaurants, our stylish, three-bedroom bungalow sleeps 10-to-13 and includes a fully equipped kitchen, patio with grille, living room with fireplace, and a fully equipped wireless-access office. We're also ideal for business, corporate and small group retreats.
We're perfect for families with little ones up thru teenagers. We are baby-proofing experts, from outlet covers, pac-n-plays, highchairs, to an awesome three-tier bunk bed system that all ages really enjoy! Sturdy and comfortable.

Why the Owner Chose Beckley
Some of the most wonderful features of this beautifully restored older home would have to be the spacious and comfortable living spaces that are easily enjoyed by many or a few. It just has a real elegance and warmth that truly makes you feel at home. The beautiful hardwood floors and original woodwork are really something special, as well. And the fireplace, next to the big old-fashioned tub, is just a real pleasure to experience. There's also plenty of space to spread out, from the little office alcove for a little computer work, to the recently converted sitting room where you can find quiet to read or enjoy a movie on your computer. All space has been designed to offer maximum comfort, while respecting privacy.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Everyone loves the big, old fashioned bathtub! Most say that they had forgotten what it feels like to have a real bath in a large and lovely tub! Candles, wine, and bubbles! And room for two!
