Our mountain home, "Bubba and Skeeters", is located in Trillium Links and Lake Club adjacent to beautiful wooded trails with a gently flowing creek that flows into Lake Glenville. You can also follow the trail upstream to "Mule Kickin' Falls". Our home is rustic, but luxurious. Covered porches run along the front and back of the home. There is also an open deck on the side so you can enjoy the gentle breezes while you view the wooded area behind our home and relax in the sun. As you walk up to the front door, you will notice the handcrafted stone garden walls and the beautiful gardens filled with indigenous perennials blooming all summer long.
The interior provides a rustic, but upscale feel as you see the mountain laurel rails and the stone fireplace. The master bedroom is on the main level, with 2 bedrooms upstairs and a full suite and entertainment room downstairs. It is very comfortable and roomy.

Why the Owner Chose Cashiers
The mountains are beautiful and tranquil and the summers are cool and relaxing. October is fabulous for viewing the Fall leaves. Our community offers everything that we could possibly want to do for a mountain getaway. Lake Glenville is located at the highest elevation (approx. 3,500') above sea level East of the Mississippi, so the temperatures are always cool and comfortable for getting out of the Summer heat. If arriving by air, there are direct flights to Greenville, SC and Atlanta, GA. Asheville, NC has an airport as well, but usually requires a layover.
The Unique Benefits at this House
The summer weather ranges from 55 to 75, with cool nights and beautiful days. Hiking trails with beautiful waterfalls and viewing areas are open all summer and many in the winter. We can do so much in one area. You can workout in the gym, play golf, play tennis, boat, and enjoy the cool outdoors all from one place. Cashiers is a wonderful get away with shopping, a farmer's market at the crossroads, restaurants, concerts on the Village Green and is close the quaint little town of Highlands. Brevard provides several cultural events, including symphony performances.

You can not go wrong with this home. We had such a wonderful time and felt very at home. The decor was beautiful and the surroundings were amazing. The owner is SO flexible and thoughtful. I was lucky enough to secure this home for my family during my wedding week and I couldn't have asked for more! You will not be disappointed with Bubba and Skeeters!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.
