Come stay at our beautiful lake front home on Blackfish Lake. It's a large house with plenty of windows and great open spaces.
There is a large covered deck and BBQ. In colder weather you will enjoy the warmth of the gas fireplace. A wonderful gourmet kitchen, and Wireless Internet.
The 10 Acres provide a peaceful, private setting with plenty of room to play and relax.
The house is fairly new, being built in 2007. It has an open easy feeling with a large living room that opens onto the covered deck. The gourmet kitchen, features all upscale stainless steel appliances and granite counter-tops. The den can be used to relax in, use as an office, or the pull-out queen size sofa/bed can be used for extra guests
Our place is Kid friendly with Swimming, Fishing, and Boating as favorite activities. Wildlife viewing is great here too. Occasionally, you will see bald eagles fly by or perch on trees by the lake, Osprey are regular visitors to help themselves to the Rainbow Trout and Largemouth Bass in the lake. Don't forget relaxing and enjoying the beautiful lake, view, and surrounding nature.

We've rented houses on the San Juans before, but Haro Haiku was definitely a cut above. The pictures on the web site are enticing, but the house and setting are even better than the pictures. Totally peaceful, lots of whale activity clearly visible from the house, and easy access to the oyster/clam farm ten minutes away. If you can tear yourself away from the peace and quiet, be sure to have dinner at least once at the Duck Soup Inn. Stephanie and Jack are perfect hosts--there right away if you need them, otherwise you have complete privacy. We'll definitely be back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

This house was awesome. We stayed here with our cousins, so 2 couple and 3 kids and we had plenty of room. This pictures do not do the home justice, it has high ceilings, home looks like it was newly renovated, big kitchen, and has a great grill. The home was also extremely clean. The house also has good location on the island and yet you still have a secluded feeling. The house was also kid friendly, we had a 2, 3, and 8 year old with us and there was plenty to do in/around the house. The pond also provided additional entertainment but it was also far enough from the home that as a parent of the 2 year old I didn't have to worry every second about him when we were outside together. The owners were extremely helpful and provided us with a ton of information about the island. In addition the owners were very responsive to all communication regarding questions about the rental of the house. We would stay at this house again and cannot recommend it enough.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I stayed at this property recently and found it to be beautiful and restful. The setting on the lake was perfect for us, and we enjoyed fishing off of the bank of the lake. The house, which is tastefully decorated and very spacious, is located a short distance from Friday Harbor, and we enjoyed the sights, restaurants and shops of Friday Harbor and also drove to Roche Harbor for dinner one evening. The owners were very helpful when we had questions and the house was clean and well maintained. (We loved the huge kitchen!) It was an excellent choice and we hope to stay there again. We would recommend this property to anyone with several in their group, and it could accomodate several more people very easily. Thank you, Stephanie and Jack, for your hospitality!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
