We invite you to escape to a sanctuary where the stress and chaos of everyday life are left behind. At our private riverfront retreat, situated on the incredibly beautiful Wenatchee River, you will enjoy the serenity and bliss of a home-away-from-home vacation. Relax in the warm, cozy comforts of our home while enjoying amazing riverfront views and sounds of rushing water from almost every room.
At the River Vista Haus, you’ll be surrounded by an abundance of wildlife at any time of year. Depending on the season, you may spy hummingbirds, chickadees, deer, salmon, elk, osprey, or eagles. Across the river is the Wenatchee National Forest – a wonderful wildlife preserve where we have spotted an elk herd and a black bear fishing for salmon – the best of nature viewing from the safety of our side of the river!
Our River Vista Haus provides 3,400+ square foot accommodation - great for family gatherings! There are three bedrooms plus one extra convertible bed, four bathrooms (2 showers), gourmet kitchen, 6-7 person hot tub overlooking the river, and spacious dining/living/bar area with cathedral ceilings for entertaining. We also have high speed internet, TV, and a cabin phone.

Here are some of our reasons: * A little bit of Bavaria - come experience the sights, sounds, and festivals of an authentically German experience! * Amazing Outdoors - breathtaking forest, mountain vistas, and rushing glacial rivers create amazing opportunities for Leavenworth's renown outdoor recreation. You can hike, mountain bike, golf, river raft, swim, ski, snowshoe, etc! * Close To Seattle - it is about a 2-hour drive from Seattle so its a great weekend getaway for the family!

Our family uses this vacation home as a get away to strengthen the family bonds between the different generations of Huas (from our dad to his grandkids!). We take pride in our property and are responsive to any of our renters needs. Since we are local, we deal with our guests directly from answering questions of things to do, to cleaning, to repairs, and anything in between. All of our properties are fully furnished and have all the amenities of home!

What a vacation! We were so impressed with your home. Our plans to find accommodations for three couples were met well beyond our expectations. We enjoyed sitting by the fire place, staring at the beautiful view of the river and forest, making meals in your well stocked kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub and playing outdoors in the snow! After our first night there we were already making plans to stay again next year. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home!

WE had a wonderful time at this getaway, the pictures don't do it justice. We were very surprised at how comfortable it was and the river right below us was beautiful. We enjoyed Christmas here and would do it again, we thought coming in the summer would be great too.

River Vista Haus is a funtastic retreat that provides all the amenities for a nice holiday close to the nature while being very accessible from the fun city of Leavenworth. The house is tastefully furnished with attention to the smallest of the things that you will need to have a good time. The open floor plan with multiple sitting areas is perfect for entertaining a large group. A well-equipped media room and play room with toys and building sets provides for all age groups, and especially for the teen agers with the XBOX hooked to the large screen TV. Sipping a good tea on the deck with the Wenatchee river flowing below is close to nirvana and only topped by spending some quality time in the hot tub. This would be our absolute first choice for a trip to the Leavenworth area.

My wife, daughter and I had a great time at the River Haus. Beautiful, clean home with many great amenities and lots of privacy. My daughter particularly liked the bunk beds and the game room, and my wife and I particularly loved the hot tub, living room and upper deck; All with a great view of the river. Far away from the crowds of main street in Leavenworth when you want peace and quiet, but close enough to go to town every day for shopping, dining and fun! We highly recommend it!!!

My friends and I stayed at River Vista Haus and had a wonderful relaxing and peaceful week. It is a lovely home with all amenities and a stunning view of the river from a deck that runs the whole length of the house, so we could always find a shady, comfortable spot for visiting and reading. There are great trails nearby and in the park there is a great trail along the river. Leavenworth has a city park with a trail system along the river.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The house was beautiful and every bit as nice as the photos depicted, in fact, we changed our plans and decided to buy groceries and stay in for dinner both nights rather than go out. It turned out perfect allowing us to play games and spend time with our friends. It was very nicely furnished with minimal personal items so we didn't feel like we were staying in someone else's house. Both the house and the hot tub were very clean and we enjoyed it all. It easily accommodated our group and was only about a 20 minute drive to downtown Leavenworth where we spent the day just roaming around. The posturepedic beds were a great surprise and added to the entire level of comfort! We hope to visit again and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean comfortable home with all the amenities, not just a cabin in the woods.
