I and 3 friends stayed here 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We could hardly call it a "cabin" though - it is spacious, can sleep up to 8 people. The gourmet kitchen is amazing and we enjoyed cooking meals together and eating in the adjacent spacious living room. There is also a bar, though we didn't make use of it. Our favorite thing in the evening was sitting in front of the cozy fireplace on the large comfy leather couches and hanging out. The entire upstairs on the back side had wall-to-wall floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors to gorgeous riverfront views, and the largest wrap-around deck I've ever seen. The master bedroom was also enormous and comfortable, with a walk-in closet and large bathroom with tub and shower. I went for a lovely run along the country roads and into the town of Plain and back. All in all, a fabulous and relaxing getaway I won't soon forget.

We've stayed twice before and have had a great time every time. It's the perfect getaway during the summer or the winter time! This time we spent a great long weekend snowboarding at Stevens and then loved coming back to soak in the the hot tub with a beautiful view. We can't wait to setup another trip, hopefully this summer so we can get some river rafting in too!

What a vacation! We were so impressed with your home. Our plans to find accommodations for three couples were met well beyond our expectations. We enjoyed sitting by the fire place, staring at the beautiful view of the river and forest, making meals in your well stocked kitchen, relaxing in the hot tub and playing outdoors in the snow! After our first night there we were already making plans to stay again next year. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home!

The house was beautiful big roomy and spacious with all the amenities for the kids and grown ups. It was much prettier than on pictures and the price was great. We stayed in many cabins before but I would highly reccomend Riverfront House!! The bathtub was great and all ready to be used/heated:) and the kids room with bunkbeds and toys was wonderful. Would highly reccomend for family getaway!!

WE had a wonderful time at this getaway, the pictures don't do it justice. We were very surprised at how comfortable it was and the river right below us was beautiful. We enjoyed Christmas here and would do it again, we thought coming in the summer would be great too.

My wife, daughter and I had a great time at the River Haus. Beautiful, clean home with many great amenities and lots of privacy. My daughter particularly liked the bunk beds and the game room, and my wife and I particularly loved the hot tub, living room and upper deck; All with a great view of the river. Far away from the crowds of main street in Leavenworth when you want peace and quiet, but close enough to go to town every day for shopping, dining and fun! We highly recommend it!!!

My friends and I stayed at River Vista Haus and had a wonderful relaxing and peaceful week. It is a lovely home with all amenities and a stunning view of the river from a deck that runs the whole length of the house, so we could always find a shady, comfortable spot for visiting and reading. There are great trails nearby and in the park there is a great trail along the river. Leavenworth has a city park with a trail system along the river.

River Vista Haus is a funtastic retreat that provides all the amenities for a nice holiday close to the nature while being very accessible from the fun city of Leavenworth. The house is tastefully furnished with attention to the smallest of the things that you will need to have a good time. The open floor plan with multiple sitting areas is perfect for entertaining a large group. A well-equipped media room and play room with toys and building sets provides for all age groups, and especially for the teen agers with the XBOX hooked to the large screen TV. Sipping a good tea on the deck with the Wenatchee river flowing below is close to nirvana and only topped by spending some quality time in the hot tub. This would be our absolute first choice for a trip to the Leavenworth area.

The house was beautiful and every bit as nice as the photos depicted, in fact, we changed our plans and decided to buy groceries and stay in for dinner both nights rather than go out. It turned out perfect allowing us to play games and spend time with our friends. It was very nicely furnished with minimal personal items so we didn't feel like we were staying in someone else's house. Both the house and the hot tub were very clean and we enjoyed it all. It easily accommodated our group and was only about a 20 minute drive to downtown Leavenworth where we spent the day just roaming around. The posturepedic beds were a great surprise and added to the entire level of comfort! We hope to visit again and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean comfortable home with all the amenities, not just a cabin in the woods.

Let me start by saying this house is "Picturesque" inside and out. Our family had a wonderful time and enjoyed to views oh soooo much. This home really felt like "our home away from home". We will be staying again in the future, of course for longer and bring more family members. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us. The Larson Family:)

Thank you for a wonderful weekend, just what our family needed. Having Lake Wenatchee practically next door was a big plus! We had fun snow shoeing, cross country skiing and sledding--and the hot tub was nice to relax in while enjoying the river and mountain views. And Leavenworth was a nice distraction of pubs and shops.
Owner response:Thanks for being such a wonderful guest Ron! You timed your stay well with all the snow we have been getting lately. You are welcome back anytime.

We have enjoyed this amazing house in winter, spring, and summer. Each time we see different wildlife and the changes that the river goes through. What we love most about this house is the clean, immaculate attention to detail. I enjoy walking in and seeing the vaulted ceiling, exposed beams & columns, and the wall of windows that showcase the river below. My favorite room is the living room because you can watch the river, the mountains, and forest beyond. And now that they have an outdoor hot tub, we enjoy being warm surrounded by the snowy winter environment.
Owner response:Steve, thanks for being a returning guest and always taking such good care of our home. Glad to hear that you enjoyed the hot tub. Looks like you picked a wonderful snowy weekend for it.

I had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying the beautiful scenery, I think I could have stayed in the living room all day just reading a book and looking outside. The house is beautiful, cozy and a great get away location to simply enjoy good company. I'm so thankful I could go up with close friends and stay at such a beautiful location, snowshoe, and hot tub. Thanks for such a wonderful and relaxing weekend!

Our ski group loved this river view home. It is spacious, has plenty of hot water, a hot tub with a great view of the river (we even saw a bald eagle fly over the river from the hot tub), and is located near Lake Wenatchee and between Leavenworth and Stevens Pass.

Our family spent this last thanksgiving at he Riverfront House. We were blessed with snow, a beautiful home and each other. The Riverfront House is both elegant and comfortable, the many windows allowed everyone to share in the suriel views of the river and the furnishings were all top notch. Between fuseball, the hot tub and games there was always something to keep us entertained. Te kitchen proved to be adequite to cook a Thnakgiving dinner and meals for 9. If you are even considering to spend time in the area the Riverfron House should be on the top of your list. God bless.

Hospitality is felt in this home as you feel right at home when you walk in. There a large well equipped kitchen-dining space that opens up to two beautifully decorated living room spaces. Views are spectacular from here. River Wenatchee in the rear of the home which provides excellent water adventures to be had with your family. There is ample bedding and large spaces for gatherings of your friends and family. You could have 3-4 families staying there and still have plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their stay. Immaculately kept, excellent amenities such as internet, TV, hot tub. We visited Oktoberfest this year (15 min drive from this home into downtown and enjoyed the Fall colors at a nearby hike this year. Will be renting it out with family friends for a summer getaway and also referring to my friends. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one!

Very nice property. Everything was as expected from the description. Hot tub is very nice and easy to use. Great kitchen with plenty of utensils & equipment. Very close to the river, with gorgeous views out all the windows. Lots of room to spread out, and a good variety of games & entertainment (foosball, movies, etc). Be aware that the beds are Tempur-Pedic - some people love them, some don't. No internet or AT&T service at the house, but AT&T service can be found if you drive about 5 minutes up the street. Had a great time, and would not hesitate to rent the property again.
Owner response:Great to hear that you enjoyed your stay Doug. After working with the PUD for almost a year, we are proud to announce that there is now internet, TV, and a phone at River Vista Haus.

We stayed at the River Vista Haus in early September with a few other members of our family and a couple young children. It was the perfect setup for us! The spacious kitchen was perfect for prepping meals together and the dining table was large enough to fit us all. The rooms were all perfectly clean and the bathrooms well stocked and spotless. Just 15-20 minutes outside of Leavenworth, it was easy to drive out there for the day or just for a meal. We enjoyed reading some of the books and magazines at the house and also playing video games in the rec room. Everyone also enjoyed walking down by the river. We would definitely stay here again!

You couldn't ask for anything better than the River Haus. The house is spacious, well designed, furnished beautifully and welcoming. The deck and view overlook the river with a walking path down to the water. Everything you need and want is provided. When in Leavenworth, this is the place to stay. In addition to the amazing accomodations, the owners are gracious, accomodating and extremely friendly. If you have any special requests or questions, they will go out of their way to help you. I would highly recommend renting the River Haus.

Our group of three families with six children spent three nights at the river haus in July. This home is set up really well for multiple parties with a beautiful kitchen, great seating space, three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and deck seating. We enjoyed the peaceful setting on the Wenatchee river, sitting around the camp fire, and the kids liked the big screen tv, games, and electric piano. I would recommend this home and location for others to visit.

Our stay at the River Vista Haus was wonderful and relaxing. We came to the area for a family reunion and wish we could of spent more time hanging out at the house. The view of the river was amazing. We spent most of our time on the deck taking in the scenery and watching the birds. We also relaxed in the hot tub each night. The place was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Kitchen had everything to prepare a meal. We will stay here again and we will recommend it to our friends. We drove into Plain to eat at the Old Mill Cafe, food was excellent and shopped at Plain Hardware (a must do). You will love this house!

We rented this home for an annual gathering of friends and had a difficult time leaving. The home is meticulously clean, comfortable, well stocked and had a very open layout for comfort. The kitchen is great to gather and cook in, huge dining room table, fantastic deck, beautiful views of the river, fire pit for the evenings and a new hot tub. The owners seem to trust all the renters and do not have everything locked up. It felt like we were at "home". Of course, the basement offered foosball, great movies and Xbox entertainment (especially for 5 people that never played video games). The location couldn't be better for us. It was approx. 20 minutes to Leavenworth (which was great since it was starting to get busy) and close enough to local hikes, parks, stores, etc. The property is adjacent to the National Forest boundary which offers solitude. Deer greeted us every morning. Ultimately, we enjoyed the location, access and comforts of the home. Thank You!

Absolutely FANTASTIC!! Everything you possibly need for a vacation is there...beautiful river views, huge deck, trails...perfect for people who love outdoors. We went during Holidays with family visiting from East Coast and all of us instantly fell in love with the place. Had a great time playing Fooseball, watching movies and board games. My boys enjoyed playing Xbox...playing with snow..building snow forts...they had loads of fun and so did we. The house is so roomy and tastefully decorated...Tri really took care of every minute detail to make it the most comfortable place. Loved the well stocked pantry! We would definitely go back in summer!

The home is ultra spacious yet cozy. Our view of the river was so peaceful, and when in the mood for a nice dinner out, Leavenworth was just a few miles away. Nice hiking trails all around. We had a fantastic time snow shoeing to a nearby lake and watching families ice fishing. Beautiful home and great for having friends stay for the weekend as they had lots of privacy downstairs with their own living space.

The perfect place to enjoy nature in a very private and beautiful home. We had fun tubing down the river behind the house, and being a couple miles from the boat launch to go wakeboarding on Lake Wenatchee was great. Down the road Leavenworth is always an interesting town to visit where we found some great restaurants and enjoyed the free wine tasting.

THANK YOU for the great time in Leavenworth. We had an absolute blast - snowshoeing (the creek we stopped at was AWESOME), sitting by the fire chatting, eating at the German restaurant Andreas Keller, homemade SPAM breakfast burritos, bison burgers, hanging out in your beautiful "cabin mansion" with an amazing view of the river. We loved every minute of it and had a very relaxing time. Can't wait to come back, and definitely recommend this as one of the top places to stay in the Leavenworth / Lake Wenatchee area.
