Why the Owner Chose Edelweiss
It's such an awesome location. I've stayed where I can ski-in/ski-out but then it's a cold walk to town and back. Here it's only a few steps to the gondola (which makes it almost ski-in/out) AND it's only 1-2 blocks to all the restaurants and shops. No more running to get back because I'm freezing! It's also an easy drive up to Vail, Keystone, or Copper if we want to ski there a day or two. In summer we love to wander to the nearby hiking trails, museums, and arts district or jump on the bike trail to Frisco just across the street.

My wife and I rented this condo while attending the Breck. Main St. Artfair. It was perfectly located, well appointed and very comfortable. The owner is responsive and efficient. We had a wonderful time. Thanks.

The Edelweiss is perfectly located in town and very convenient to the gondola exactly as advertised! The 1 BR + pull out sofa were perfect for our needs. The condo was very well equipped and quaint! The condo is within easy walking distance of lots of resturants and shops. Our experience with the owner was excellent - no surprises or issues at all. Would definitely consider staying here again.

I went in to our first of two stays at the unit cautiously optimistic that the location was half as good as advertised and crossing my fingers that the unit would be in okay shape based on the price. Given my expectations, I was blown away. It was everything as advertised and we had such a great time on our first visit, we stayed again a second time a few weeks later. As a bonus, the owners were very responsive and easy to work with. You won't regret staying here.

This was a great location, it very close to the gondola and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go into Breckenridge. The interior was very nice, and is great if you are wanting to spend your time out and about.

Condo just as listed. A dream to get to the slopes. Walk 1 block to the free town gondola to go up to base of peaks 7 or 8. At the end of the day, ski down the 4 o'clock run to the tunnel to gondola parking lot or ride the gondola back down. Traffic noise minimal. Very convenient to walk to all the shops and restaurants. Rental shops next door and across the street. The price was right too! three of us stayed the last weekend in Jan. Wonderful time international snow sculpture competition. On Friday morning there was no line to wait in for the gondola. On Sat and Sun the lines were quite long so we caught the free bus that took us to base of peak 9. (Buses available at same location as catching the gondola) Kitchen had everything we needed, but we also ate out. Great burgers at Empire Burger, excellant fondue and wine at the Swiss restaurant and to die for cuisine at the Hearthstone (expensive). Rasta Pasta's price was right but no flavor, just heat in the Rasta spaghetti. Only drawback to the condo is that the neighbors can be a little noisy, although instructions declare quiet hours. We hope future visitors have a terrific time!

My wife and I went Breck with her parents. It was the first time they have seen snow and they acted like teenagers. Breck was awesome. Great Christmas/Holiday ski town for first timers. I really think VRBO was a great site for this/any occasion. I booked with Jennifer right around Thanksgiving because her listing was right on the main street and it was the cheapest. There was a $200 deposit and she returned that promptly after our visit. Great communication. Her condo was a little difficult to find but the locals were very friendly. The location is perfect for more experienced borders or skiers because of Peak 7/8 gondola. Too bad that wasn't us. It was my first time trying to ski and Peak 10 was my home. The condo situated 4 adults comfortably. Me and my wife slept on the pull-out and it was comfortable enough where you couldnt feel the middle bar. We saved so much money cooking our own food with a full kitchen provided. My only concern was the shower since I am 6'2'' 245lbs but, once i stepped in i had plenty of arm space but had too duck for the spray nozzle. I rated our time there at an 8/10. Thx Jennifer
