What a wonderful two-weeks holiday we experienced in Maui! Staying in Trish's condominium was not only comfortable but made us feel at home rather than being in a "vacation rental." Well-furnished, decorated with taste and well-supplied with kitchenware, linens, including details such as body soap, dishwasher liquid, laundry soap, garbage bags, etc...all of the above gave us that extra touch that made our stay more than special. The beach items provided were super convenient with our daily trips to the nearby beaches: chairs, towels, boogy boards, coolers, ice packs and plastic containers to pack our picnic lunches. The lanai off the bedroom was perfectly located to dispose of our wet beach towels and sandy gear. It really helped keep the condo free of sand and clutter. We barbecued many evenings in the designated area - great set up with table and chairs. The pools were well looked after and the grounds were well kept. Very quiet condominium complex with only the chirping of the tropical birds waking us to this paradise every morning. Trish was very helpful and informative before and during our stay. This was our first trip to Maui and our family had a memorable time. So in a few words the condo was perfect in every way. We would recommend this property to friends and family without any hesitation. We hope to come back soon.

Excellent Condo !

We stayed at Trish's condo for about 10 days in Jan. '12 and found it to be the best of any condo. we have rented in Hawai'i (and we've rented a lot). First off, I am "high maintenance" when it comes to clean and the place was spotless. The bed in the master room was extremely comfortable and on a solid frame. Trish has the place well stocked with kitchen gear, beach gear, and even little things like extra sunscreen, shampoo, etc. to get you started so you don't have to run right out to the store when you get there. There were boogie boards, snorkle gear, beach toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach mats, coolers, and ice packs (already in the freeze thank you!), and more. All of the furniture, etc. was in great shape. My kids (8 & 10) slept on the pullout sofa just fine. There are two fans and two air conditioners so you can choose between or use both. The main lanai is very private and an added bonus was that the patio doors open on both sides to give the feeling that the whole wall is open. We have this in our own house in Seattle and just love the feeling of bringing the outdoors in while cooking in the kitchen. One thing we found handy was the second lanai and drying rack. You can put all your sandy items like snorkle gear in the second lanai keeping the condo sand-free and the other lanai open and free to eat or have drinks on. The location to the pool was fantastic if you are staying with kids or plan to go to the pool frequently. The pool area was very clean as was the pool itself. We didn't go into the hot tub, but it looked clean as well. The condo complex itself is very quiet, even though it seemed full. We never had to search for chairs at the pool even though it was always rather busy. And, while the pool would be busy, and kids were playing, no one was loud or partying, etc. At night the condo is quiet. We slept with the windows open and only heard an occasional car. The location is fantastic if you like to snorkle, hang-out on the southern beaches, surf (at a beginner level), or kayak. Very close to best Maui snorkle spots We also like condos that use a code versus key system as it's one less thing to loose at the beach. The decor of the condo was also quite tasteful island theme. We did not use the TVs or stereo, but the condo is all equipped with those plus free phone and vm. The condo was excellent and we will definitely book again if we visit Maui. Would recommend to a friend.

We have stayed previously at the Maui Kamaole and find it to be a beautiful well maintained property. The front desk staff as well as others working the grounds were all very friendly. The condo was just as described with beautiful furnishings and exceptionally clean. While we would see quite a few geckos outside, which is to be expected, we did not see even 1 bug inside. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as well as items to use at the beach including nice Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrella, ice chests and more. Trish was very friendly and easy to work with, with great Restaurant suggestions. We would highly recommend this Unit to anyone. Mahalo! Randy & Sharon

This was my first time renting a property with vrbo. I was nervous about the whole experience and am happy to report that everything was just perfect. The listing description is accurate and the condo is as spotless and as beautiful as the pictures present it. The condo was very clean and very well maintained. Trish was so helpful in answering all of our questions and concerns. I found Trish to be so esay to work with, and all her suggestions were fantastic. She really helped orient us to Maui through her suggestions so we could spend more time enjoying our vacation. I specifically chose Maui Kamaole because we like to scuba dive and it was very convenient to roll down the road at 6am and over to the boat ramp across the street. We found the condo to be very quiet and easy for sleeping. Security idenitified our car (we arrived after the desk was closed) which was very reassuring to know that they were keeping a good eye on the place. We spent a week at Trish's condo and we would gladly return and recommend it to our friends. Thank you Trish for helping to make our vacation amazing!

Very Reluctantly I have just returned from a wonderful stay in Trish's beautiful condo. The layout of this condo was already very well done then the remodel made it a spotless showcase. The photos on the website do not do it justice. The furnishings are incredible, including beautiful wood tables. There are lovely granite countertops in both baths and kitchen. The bathroom counters are extra tall and the shower head is perfectly placed so us tall folks don't have to scrunch down to wash our hair. There is more storage in this condo than one can fill. A full size washer/dryer was a godsend. Trish stocks the essentials to get you started before a trip to Safeway ie: toilet paper, soap, paper towels. Even the closets have been stocked with tons of hangars. Can't tell you how much I appreciated the ice maker and the labels on the light switches and the beach chairs, toys and accessories. These may seem like small things but are rare in most condos. Trish is very easy to work with and has left many great suggestions for activities and restaurants. I would highly recommend Trish's condo to anyone looking for a luxurious yet reasonable priced piece of paradise. The Maui Kamaole Complex is very conveniently located. Shops, restaurants, the boat ramp, beaches and cinnamon rolls are all within walking distance. Aloha, Dive Mom

Aloha Trish, Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful condo for our vacation. Everything was perfect and it was great to have the boogie boards, beach chairs, and coolers to take to the beach. We tried many of your suggestions for restaurants, etc. ~ they were all so good. We also enjoyed ‘Sansei’ for sushi at the Foodland Mall and ‘Beach Bums’ at Ma’alaea Harbor for great wood BBQ. We had a wonderful return trip to Maui and to this lovely condo. We knew in advance that we were returning to all the comforts of home and there were no surprises! The location is great for a private get away and quiet relaxing on the front lanai, within a little piece of tropical garden. The condo is very well maintained and the kitchen especially is well equipped. We loved having access to the beach accessories including coolers, large beach umbrella and comfortable beach chairs plus more! The owner is terrific and answers any questions you may have. We highly recommend this condo!

Aloha, Trish, and Mahalo for providing such a comfortable and well equipped condo. The bed and bedding are dreamy. We used the towels, coolers, and chairs every day. Our 40 night stay was wonderful, but it sure went by fast. It was wonderful to have the free high speed Internet, as my work got very busy while I was here, and it allowed me to get everything done from the condo. The free long distance phone service was great as well, since the cell reception is sketchy in the condo. The photos are true to how the Condo really is. We spent a very relaxing week here in early June. The ginat bed is very comfy, so is the couch and the leather chair. Unfortunately we damaged the chair while we stayed there so it may not be able to be repaired to it's former glory (so sorry Trish). It was great having the washing machine and dryer, we could keep on top of our laundry. All new appliances in the kitchen - a dream to work/cook in. The Weber barbecues are large and clean and well provisioned. Now that we know how well the kitchen is set up we plan to stock up on bulk food at Costco and stay for 2 weeks next time - buying small quantities of groceries daily at the supermarket sure worked out much more expensive than on the mainland. Keawakapu beach is gorgeous for a morning walk.

Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

Quiet Luxury

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this condo on our recent vacation trip to Maui. The unit itself is quite luxurious and comfortable, and the condo complex is very tranquil and nicely situated. The complex is on a hill far enough above South Kihei Road that traffic noise was not an issue. It is just a short stroll from the unit down to the pleasant lawns and beach of Kamaole III, where we could picnic, people-watch, play in the surf, and watch the sunset. A pool and hot tub were very close to the unit, making those an easy alternative to the beach when the afternoon winds kicked up. While staying at the Maui Kamaole, besides laying on the beaching and working on our tans, we went on a hike through the picturesque lava fields of La Perouse Bay just a 15 minute drive south; we took a catamaran out to Molokini for a morning of sailing, snorkeling, and whale watching (Paragon Sailing Charters); and we ate extraordinary fish tacos and seafood pasta at Coconuts in North Kihei. Quality Control: The unit description and photos were accurate. The property was spotless when we arrived. The owner, Trish Alexander, was very helpful and very friendly. And we wouldn't blink twice before recommending the unit to family and friends.

"Dreams really do come true"! This is our first trip to Maui and "definitely" will not be our last. We still have a lot of things to do from your list of favorite things on Maui! (quite helpful) We've enjoyed so many activities ~ the wonderful beaches, watching the sunsets, snorkeling & whale-watching, a luau, the drive to Hana, an incredible dinner at Mama's Fish House, and the list goes on. It was great to come "home" to the condo ~ everything one needs is right here. All your "extras" certainly makes your place "special". We are sad to be leaving this lovely condo and beautiful Maui. This is our first condo holiday and I have to say that your fully equipped condo was a pleasant surprise and just like the pictures. Our stay was made extra special by the elegant touches that made us feel at home. I especially appreciated the well appointed kitchen that made meal preparation and presentation a delight. We traveled down with another couple who also stayed at this complex and they enjoyed spending mealtime and evenings with us. The comfortable bed and pillows were important to me, keeping me well rested for the activity packed days. We loved having the DVD player and all the lovely Hawaiian music CDs. The Internet access was a huge plus as it allowed us to keep in touch with family (and occasionally work). We enjoyed the lanai and seeing our bird friends. Many thanks to you for having the perfect condo. It was exactly like the pictures and everything was perfect. I was especially impressed with all the kitchen had to offer. You have truly thought of everything. We felt very comfortable and 'at home' here. Being able to cook our own food worked out really nicely as our son is anaphylactic so we are unable to just eat anywhere. Your decorating tastes are very nice and you obviously have a knack. Wow! You have an amazing condo on Maui...we have been to Hawaii a half dozen times...I have been their countless times before. Love your place since it felt like home. Bruce could watch ESPN on living room TV and it was Myra’s pick on bedroom TV...cool. You had all the amenities and then some. Beach chairs and coolers were our favorite. Thank you! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your condo for the last 6 nights. We were very happy to see that the condo was indeed as the photos portrayed, after having stayed in a hotel room in LA which was not at all what we thought we had paid for. You have certainly thought long and hard about what needed to be included in the property. We didn't need to purchase anything in order to prepare a meal, it was already there. Wow!! What a wonderful time we had. This was our first visit to Maui and everything was spectacular ~ the beaches, the sunsets, the drives, the food, the people. We had a great time! Your condo is wonderful. Everything we could hope for and more. The books, CDs, etc. were all appreciated as well as the beach chairs, mats, and towels. We left a boogie board for people to use. We had no trouble with bugs, but then we were quite studious about taking out any "wet garbage" and not allowing it to sit. For anyone looking for local art, the Lahaina Court House and under the Banyan Tree have all local work on 3 out of 4 Sundays a month. Mahalo! John & Karen ~ BC, Canada
