Why the Owner Chose Blue River, Ponds
My wife and I decided to purchase in The Ponds at Blue River while we were on a skiing vacation back in 2002. The mountains, summer and winter outdoor activities, and what we think is a perfect central location all contributed to a long term decision made easy. I hope you find the same qualities in our second home that is never used enough but can be shared with guests.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The complex is very quite during the week and our place backs up to the Blue River and Williams Range to make for a great hot tub experience. The bike trail next to the river is new and will ultimately link up with the Summit co. network of trails. The river can be heard if the master windows are open. Great view of Buffalo Mtn. out front door.

I stayed at this property during Christmas and New Years and would definitely recommend this property to a friend. The property was very clean and very well maintained. The listing description was accurate and the photos reflected the appearance and amenities adequately. The hottub was very warm. The owner was helpful and answered any questions I had.

We stayed here from Dec 19 - Dec 25, 2010. The condo was all that was described and then some. Really high-end, lovely furnishings not normally found in a rental in such a reasonable price range. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The hot tub is heavenly, with a beautiful view of the hills rising up behind the river. Kitchen is perfect for cooking in- including nice cookware, spices, crockpot and waffle iron. Even a few lovely Christmas decorations! Bedrooms are spacious and cozy. The location is central to everything and close to a brand-new Target should you forget anything on your vacation. We skied Breck, A-Basin, Copper and Vail with ease of travel each day. Condo is peaceful and quiet. My only recommendation would be bring your slippers, as the pretty slate floors downstairs are cold on the feet. We even had a gigantic bull moose visit right outside the door during morning coffee, munching weeds for well over 10 minutes while we took his picture. I would stay at this great spot again in heartbeat, and you should, too!

We stayed here in January for a ski trip with three couples. First impression was that the actual townhome is roomier and more comfortable than the photos in the listing show, especially the second floor where the bedrooms are located. This was certainly a pleasant surprise with 6 adults in the space. Otherwise the property was true to the listing. It was very clean, well maintained, and well stocked with kitchen supplies and linens. Making arrangements with the owner was a breeze, and everything was just as he said it would be. The neighborhood is located a couple miles from the Silverthorne Outlet Mall, making all four Ski Areas easily accessible with just about 15 minute drives. There are no hills to negotiate getting to the townhome from the interstate, so even in snow driving was hassle free. There was plenty of storage for our skis and other equipment, and the private hot tub was awesome at the end of a long day of skiing. The river is literally steps from the back porch, and I'm sure the trail along it is great during the warmer season. We would definitely recommend this property to stay for any visit.

We stayed here in June of 2008 with another family. We had a wonderful time! The property was beautiful and very well kept. We esp. enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after kids were in bed. We would definitly stay again!

This unit is awesome! My family really enjoyed our stay. The facility is beautifully decorated. I would give your unit a 10 on a scale of 10 and would recommend the condo to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful and comfortable home. I would definately stay there again if we return to Silverthorne.
