Highly upgraded West Maui Kaanapali Papakea 2 bedroom, 2 full bath ground floor condo 25 feet from the ocean's edge. Watch the whales, sunsets and ocean from the kitchen and living room and lanai. Sleep to the sound of the waves. Our condo was fully renovated and features granite countertops, tile floors/baths and ceiling fans throughout. Washer/Dryer. Kitchen includes built-in wine cooler, Bosch Dishwasher, JennAir range, microwave, GE Profile fridge with ice/water, and separate drink fridge. Living room includes tropical furniture with queen hideabed sofa, love seat, HDTV/DVD and dining table and chairs. Kitchen is fully stocked with all dishes, glassware, small appliances and silverware. Master bedroom has king bed, HDTV/DVD, 2 sinks and walkin shower with "rain" shower head. Guest bedroom has queen murphy bed and twin bunk beds and port-a-crib and HDTV/DVD. Full guest bath has shower. Lanai has table, 4 chairs and 2 lounge chairs. Papakea resort has sand beach, pools, Jacuzzis, putting greens, tennis courts, shuffleboard and Koi ponds.
The Resort
This stunning totally renovated condo is truly directly on the ocean. You awake to the sites and sounds of the beautiful surf, dine on your lanai while enjoying the whales and breathtaking sunsets, or simply relax with a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the views of the ocean and Molokai and Lanai. Walk 25 feet to take a dip in the ocean or snorkel with the fish. You really can enjoy paradise without leaving the resort. The Papakea Resort is located on North Kaanapali Beach. Papakea has 13 acres of lush tropical gardens with foot bridges and koi ponds. The tennis courts, putting greens, shuffleboard and pools/hot tubs make your time as relaxing or as busy as you choose. Children especially enjoy swimming in the pools and ocean in front of the condo. You have the option of dining in or barbecuing poolside or heading out to any one of the numerous restaurants within a five mile radius.

Best authentic luau: 'Old Lahaina Luau'. Best luau food: 'The Feast at Lele'. Golf courses within 10 miles: Kapalua Bay Course, Kapalua Plantation Course, Kapalua Golf Academy, Royal Kaanapali Course and Kaanapali Kai Course. I have been vacationing on Maui for 20 years. I was looking for a condo that had the "million dollar oceanfront view" and a nice resort area. This condo has that as it is directly on the ocean and has lovely grounds and amenities.

The condo we rented was nicely refinished. The beds were very comfortable, even the Murphy bed. The location on ground floor was awesome ,as it gave you easy acsess to the beach. My kids loved it. The condo was also well equipped with everything you might need. Over all great ocean front condo to rent.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Thanks for a great stay. The condo was well appointed and perfect for a family with young children. Thank you for keeping some of the basics on hand (Games, Highchair, Pack & Play, etc). Made the trip very easy. Was great putting the kids to bed and then enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean from the patio. Best regards.

Our family had a great time in this condo. Whenever buying or leasing something from the internet, I tend to be cautious. This unit and complex are as advertised. The unit is very close to waters edge and being on the bottom floor, you can walk right out to the lanai and even enjoy the water from inside the unit. Being the early riser in my group, reading in the morning in the shade on the lawn listening to the ocean, just plain relaxing. The unit itself is well layed out with privacy for both couples. The rain shower head in the master bath was the best I have ever used. It was great after time at the ocean or pool. The resort itself had a very nice intimate feel to it. While the complex is not new it is well kept. There is no bar or restaurant but it was just the way we like it. People seemed to get on Hawaiian time quickly and were very friendly. While we spent time touring other parts of the Island we had a good mix of down time and touring. Lahaina is within a 15 minute drive. The owner was very helpful and concerned that we had all of the information necessary. Two thumbs up from us. Aloha

Back for the second year in a row and as usual we enjoyed our stay at Papakea. Your rental provides everything one needs and the sunsets and whales were a bonus. If you are headed to Haleakala, a trip to the Hali'imaile General Store is well worth it. The food is excellent! Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful condo. We saw whales, turtles and dolphins without leaving the resort. Wonderful place for our family (2 kids, ages 4 and 6). Cinque Polynesia was wowing and the keiki kids hula show at the Cannery was fun for our kids. We willmiss the spectacular sunsets from the lanai. Mahalo!
