This ski-in unit is on the quiet side of "Grand Sierra Lodge" (the nicest and newest of the three buildings in the Village). It is facing Forest Trail, overlooking the main entrance to The Village, and has a nice view of the mountains and ski-back trail and new bridge. You will not hear any of the bar noise that many of the other condos have and this unit is nice and cool in the summer. This beautiful condominium is nestled in the heart of the new Village at Mammoth, providing easy access to the many unique shops, restaurants, and the new Village Gondola! It is one of the few larger one bedroom condos in the Village (plan 1B) and is considerably bigger than the average one bedroom Village condo. This 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit is very clean and updated and has a 5-star rating!
This unit is beautifully furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, microwave, full-size refrigerator, and oven range, etc., and a nice private balcony with a view. The condo has been upgraded with a 42" LCD flat-panel HD television with Netflix and other movies, DVD player, free wireless Wi-Fi DSL high speed internet access, telephone, gas fireplace, an iPod/iPhone charger with sound system.
The bedroom has a king-sized bed and television. The living room has a queen-sized sofa sleeper. This unit is all one level on the fourth floor with easy elevator access. On the first floor, there is a gigantic heated pool (even in the winter), several Jacuzzi spas, exercise room, game room, and ski locker room (bring your own lock). This non-smoking unit sleeps up to 4 people and has one free unassigned covered parking space in the underground garage.

THE VILLAGE COMPLEX DESCRIPTION
There are three Lodges nestled in the heart of The Village at Mammoth, their architecture adding to the European mountain village flair. From any of them, you have access to the many shops and restaurants The Village boasts throughout the open air plaza, without needing any form of transportation except your own two feet! You will feel transported back to a more relaxed time, without sacrificing any of the amenities of modern life. Many of the restaurants have outdoor seating areas year-round, allowing a wonderful opportunity for people watching. In the winter season you will see all sorts of skiers and snowboarders passing by as they go from their lodging to the gondola for access to the Canyon Lodge and lifts. Scattered throughout The Village are fire pits for warmth and atmosphere. Saturdays, children gather for "Stories and S'mores" around the fire. In warm weather, you can bask in the sun and enjoy the events scheduled in the central plaza.
The Lodges are named Grand Sierra Lodge, White Mountain Lodge, and Lincoln House. There are two private outdoor spas, guest ski storage and an indoor Fitness Center in each building. There is access-controlled underground parking, with clearly marked elevators for each building. Access to the elevator is by using the electronic key to your condo.
The discounted summer rates are $149 per weeknight (Mon-Thurs) and $159 Fri-Sat (non-holiday). The discounted nightly winter midweek rates are $249 and weekend rates are $289. Winter holidays are $449-$589 per night. These rates are at least 25% below what it costs to book directly with The Village. Take advantage of these great rates and you will love this condo!!!

My family of four stayed here. The condo is clean and convenient. It is located right in the Village, so we were just a few steps from the shops, restaurants and gondola to Canyon Lodge. There is also underground parking. Couldn't have asked for a better set up. We will definitely come back here again.

The GSL is the most convient place to stay for skiing. The description of the listing was exact and the photos are very accurate of the property. It is very clean and well maintained. It's great that right downstairs you have shopping, Starbucks, and a good selection of restaurants. The kids love riding on the gondola (maybe even more than skiing for the 4 year old). The underground parking is a must for little kids. Also the hotel bell service will move your baggage for you even if you did not reserve through them. I highly recommend this property and will try to stay here for all our ski trips.

this was a great condo. easy to park, never have to use the car the whole time you are there. there's a little market right there, restaurants and coffee. it's a great condo. would definitely stay there again.

My 3 boy's and myself stayed in the unit the week before Christmas 2010. It is a quiet unit which is not always the case when staying at the villages. The unit is in excellent condition and we would stay there again. The location is a 10.

This condo is like new, spacious, and nicely decorated. It easily handles four adults. You can't ask for a better location: in the village, jacuzzi and pool, restaurants and parking. I'll use it again as long as its available!

I loved the condo and also the location. This place was perfect for my family of four. We have been going to Mammoth for years and have stayed in many condos. This place is practically new and there is nothing like the convenience of staying at the village and not having to drive anywhere. In addition to Starbucks and the new Gomez's. We used the new ski back trail right to the condo!!!
