Our family rented this house to use during my sister's wedding weekend. We had extended family stay with us and it was exactly what we wanted. There was room for the little kids to play and there was a seporate space that the adults could sit and drink coffee and look out the windows. The decor is a little dated, but that didn't matter to us! Overall the property was exactly what we were looking for to have a nice and relaxing place to stay for our family. I would recommend this property to anyone with a big group looking for a nice place to stay in Angel Fire! In fact, we can't wait to come back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

It was a great stay, just a few minor problems. No remote for upstairs tv! The cable channels were mostly infocomercials and we were not able to get bowl games during the week stay. The house was well equipped and we absolutely loved the stay! Thank you for such a great vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our party had 14 people in it, and we were all extremely comfortable. We watched a doe and her two fawns cross the road each morning and afternoon. The chipmunks played right outside the deck. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Glad you enjoyed your stay.

Owners very helpful in answering our questions. Easy road access if you don't mind seeing car lights at night---didn't seem to bother us. Loved the floor plan, excellent for 3 adult couples, 3 teens and an 8-year old---especially the large walk-around kitchen, two family rooms and 4+ baths. Also appreciated the large dining table, miniature pool table and comfy beds, plenty of linens and kitchenware. Overall clean yet somewhat dated. Windows in need of cleaning and outside deck at back (kitchen) door needs sweeping. All things considered, would recommend to families with teens. Stairs would make it difficult for small children, elderly or disabled.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.
Owner response: We are glad you liked the floor plan, kitchen with the large dining table, family rooms, pool table, beds and numerous bathrooms! Thanks for renting our home.

Great location near the resort with an amazing view of Wheeler peak. We enjoyed the stay. Plenty of room for the kids who really enjoyed the game room. Nice sledding hill right out the back door. Very clean and well maintained. Every thing worked as advertised. Would certainly stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Thanks, Laura! Our family had a blast. The lodge was very spacious, warm, cozy and the view was spectacular. Especially while the snow falling. The lodge was close and convenient to the lifts. The kids had so much fun playing pool and sledding down the driveway. We do wish there was broadband internet connectivity...as I was contacted for work/email and wanted to post pictures on Facebook. Overall, we had a very memorable trip and would definitely come back. Thanks again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: We are adding WIFI in March, 2012, which is a much needed update.

This is a HUGE house located in the mountains. It has covered porches and a second story deck where you can watch the deer come down the mountain at dusk. We enjoyed getting away from the 100 degree days of summer. Angel fire was mostly in the 70's. Angle fire is more of a "village" so we enjoyed the relaxed pace of the place without the crowds. If you are looking for a destination to shop and dine, Angel Fire might not be for you. But if you are looking to spend time with friends and family this house provides all the space and amenities for a great time.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family of 5, my brother's family of 5, our parents, and my grandmother stayed in this house from Dec. 20 to Dec. 24, 2009. We had such a great time. The house was perfectly arranged for our large family. The kids were able to sleep comfortably in the bunk room, and they thoroughly enjoyed playing pool. The rest of us each had our own bedrooms(5 bedrooms total). The kitchen allowed us a great opportunity to eat together at the large family table, and the fireplace warmed the living area. We brought our Wii to entertain the kids. But we spent the bulk of our time on the mountain, skiing. Being just a couple of miles from the slopes, we were able to come home for lunch and put the little ones down for naps. The shuttle service in Angel Fire was GREAT, making skiing and tubing access easy. The house was perfect. Eve was a GREAT hostess and the property owners in TX were fabulous and honest people. I would HIGHLY recommend this property for any family vacation - winter or summer! Thanks for the fabulous stay. The nightly rate was amazing!!Owner response: This family was the first family to rent our house by using the VRBO website. Laura Kennemer
