This house is spectacular and exceeded our expectations in every way. There were ten adults traveling and we all fit comfortably in the spacious bedrooms. The common areas were well-appointed and roomy, with views of Aspen mountain. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood across from a beautiful creek and small park. Best of all, the house is located within a short walk from town. We walked to the gondola to ski and to and from dinner every night, enjoying the fresh mountain air. The owners were easy to work with and responsive. I highly recommend this rental.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

House exactly as described or better! The architecture of this house is truly impressive -- exactly what one would expect of an ultra luxury mountain home. Unlike a lot of rental homes, everything here worked perfectly -- no issues the entire visit. At night you can see the groomers on Ajax from the hot tub. Great location -- secluded in a nice neighborhood but literally just around the corner from the edge of town. Only a 4-5 minute walk to the base of Aspen (Ajax) Mountain. We rented a Suburban, but it is also easy to get a cab to the house if you want to go to the other side of town (or it's snowing & you don't want to walk to dinner). Lastly, the transaction with the owners was very smooth with great communication and a quick return of our full security deposit!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

This house is exactly as described; however to tell the truth, the description/pictures do not do this property justice. The quality of construction, materials and finishes make this home truly luxurious. I hosted a group of ten adults for a long weekend in July and each reported that they slept really well and commented on the quality of the beds and linens. The house offers perfectly sized and scaled rooms to gather and entertain, while offering guests privacy with all of the bedrooms offering en-suite baths, five private and remaining two via jack-and-jill (all beautifully appointed). We hired their chef for a dinner party, and were delighted with the flow from appetizers and champagne on the terrace to a memorable dinner (for 10) in the dining room. The professional kitchen offers a superb experience for any chef (novice or professional), and allows others’ to engage in the process with wonderful seating areas surrounding. In addition to a fantastic location in Aspen (within easy walking distance of world class shopping and restaurants and trails outside the front door), the owner was very easy to work with and offered tips to help us enjoy our stay. I would not only recommend this rental with great enthusiasm, I can’t wait to return this winter!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
