Sand Dollar Cottage is a wonderful little get-away in Pacific Grove.
Whether business or pleasure, you will feel like your are on vacation everyday. Stroll through our quaint hometown with a cup a coffee, arriving at Lover's Point to watch the waves role into the sand and your stress level going out to the bay. The seagulls welcome you with their sounds of joy, and the locals are casual, relaxed, friendly, and most important down to earth to share history, stories, or directions!
Once you experience Sand Dollar Cottage, you will believe that you have found heaven on earth; a new peaceful haven, rejuvenating, romantic or family friendly vacation spot.....
The cottage is a 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath house, that sleeps 2 to 4. This little beach hideaway is located in the heart of Pacific Grove within walking distance to local attractions, a special grocery store, wonderful bakery, charming coffee house and numerous fine restaurants. It is only four blocks from the Beach and Lovers Point, and walking or biking distance, along the recreation trail, to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row and all that Pacific Grove has to offer.
Terry bathrobes are provided for our guests to use for the length of their stay, and a continental breakfast and local newspaper will be waiting at the cottage door every morning.
The Cottage is completely furnished, with all of the comforts of home. Separate living and bedroom, sleeps 2 Adults on Queen Bed and 2 adults/children on a trundle/day bed in the living room. A folding porta-crib and high chair are also available.
For your enjoyment the cottage has a TV, DVD, Stereo, WiFi (Wireless Internet), an iPod player and charger, as well as a sound machine featuring an array of sounds from white noise to ocean waves.
A shared patio includes a gas barbecue, umbrella tables, outdoor heaters and a fire pit. Roast some marshmallows, make some smores or just bundle up around the fire. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax after a busy or fun filled day.
Two guest passes to the Aquarium are included, as well as bicycles for our guests to use, should they want to see our little town, on two wheels.
