Adjacent to conservation area and across the wide river from a rookery for ibis, egrets and herons, the cottage is less than a hundred yards from Rogers Park Golf Course (see golf course link below). A boat ramp provides access for fishing and ski boats, kayaks and canoes. See hawks, owls, alligators, anhingas, limpkins, spoonbills, and swallowtail kites.
