  The Crappie House ranks up at the top of all the places we have stayed, and we travel extensively. It was clean and quiet, with everything we needed. Mike and Ruth were amazing hosts. The bird life was abundant. The bald eagle was majestic, and the 'Yankee swans" provided a good chuckle. Fish? Check. Peace? Check. Quiet? Check. This place is a definite YES for those seeking to get away and relax. We heartily recommend it.

  My wife, daughter and I prayed to the Lord to lead us to the right cabin on Toledo Bend. We did several researches on the internet on both side of the lake, Louisiana and Texas. We chose this cabin over serveral others and we thank God in Jesus's name that He led us here. It was prefect! Even in hot August we had a breeze that blew every day in the evening and even all day long to help. The owner Ruth went out of her way to see that we had everything we needed and she was just great. The cabin was spotless clean. The fishing docks were also perfect with night lights, swing proch, chairs and tables, and cleaning station. The lawn was prefectly groomed, a beautiful lanscape. We thank God it was the prefect place to stay. We will back! All I can sya is if you are looking for a great place to stay then this is the place you want to be. There are serveral other places you can see on the internet, and we passed by these in person on our way to Gibson Point: and I am so glad we passed them up. This is a great place to stay if you want comfort, cleanness, a great fishing dock, and friendly service. You could not ask for more!

  Quiet, private, serine, restful this is the kind of place to kick back and leave the stresses of life behind you. Do you like to fish? A perfect fishing trip type of place. Also good for quiet moonlight strolls, and a picture perfect place if you like to sit on a dock on the water and relax? Do you like to watch many different kinds of water birds and ealges? The owners have a way of attracting the fish to the large piers to make sure you are able to cook up fish for your dinner. There is a nice play set for the children an easy access boat lauch. The picture and my words to not do this hide away the justice it deserves. The owners go out of there way to make sure you have everything you need in the cabin. The kitchen, living area, bathroom, laundry area, and bedrooms are clean from top to bottom.
