This is a beautiful, functional and unique house, well-equipped and airy, on a charming quiet street. We loved our stay, especially Lambert's Cove, Larsen's, and tennis at West Farms. The outdoor shower is a winner!

Hi, My family and I had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at this property. It is in a great location and within walking distance to a wonderful nature preserve and salt water pond. It is also very close to Long Point Beach and other up-island towns such as Menemsha, Chilmark and Aquinnah which also have wonderful beaches. About the owner: My name is Jennifer. As a child I vacationed on the Vineyard with my family, then moved to the Vineyard with my family to live year-round. I am a graduate of Martha's Vineyard Regional High, class of 1969. Currently I work and live in Puerto Rico, and spend time on the Vineyard as often as I can.
Why the Owner Chose West Tisbury:
West Tisbury is centrally located, so you can easily get up-island and also down-island. The house is down New Lane, which is not a through road, so there is not very much traffic at all. It is very quiet in my neighborhood. The property is large enough to allow sitting outdoors in complete privacy. Occasionally some horseback riders will meander down Manter's Path, an ancient way that borders the property.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The house is built into the ground, so that when you are standing looking out the large glass windows you are waist-high to ground level. This gives you a beautiful outlook to the yard. You can walk easily to Sepiessa to the other side of Tisbury Great Pond, and look out towards the south shore of the island.
