We came to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and were not disappointed. The cabin is sparkling clean and cute as a button. The bathrooms and kitchen are well supplied with all the necessities and then some. Bridget is very accomodating and so very easy to work with. The welcome bottle of wine was an especially nice touch - thank you! I hadn't appreciated it fully from the pictures, but the view from the master bedroom bay window is spectacular. Lying in bed at night with the moonlight illuminating the snow-covered valley below is truly magical. My only slight disappointment was that the cabin, while it may sit on 10 acres, has a second house very close by so it was not quite as secluded as I had initially thought. However, the area is very quiet; there was very little traffic or road noise so it turned out to be a non-issue. The house is only 3 miles from Crouch, and restaurants and a grocery store are close by. We are snowshoers and found lots of national forest land nearby. Our golden lab had a wonderful visit - we actually had a hard time coaxing her into the vehicle when it was time to go home. We had a great time and hope to come back again!

Thanks for a wonderful stay! We enjoyed meeting you so much and had a perfect few days down at the river and enjoying the deck in the evenings. You think of everything! Loved the bath robes, bottle of wine, soft sheets and fluffy towels...as far as cabins go this is definately a ***** star!! We'll be back- can't wait.

What a blessing for us when our daughter, Brooke, found your terrific property. We have SO enjoyed our time on the porch with the deer, cow elk, quail, humming birds and lots of birds. We had a great campfire with s'mores. Even mom (92 yrs old) made the trip down ot the fire. We completely enjoyed the cabin and your wonderful hospitality. Steve-keep feeding those two bass-that way I'll always be sure there are some fish on the bit up here. The cabin is very relaxing and wow! -Bridget, you are so right....all we needed was over food, wine and clothing. By the way we did make a substantial number of contributions to the wine cork collection. Thanks too for the use of the domino's. I whipped them all again! Rest asured our closest of friends will be made aware of your terrific property. Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

What a wonderful week of sun! We had such a great time relaxing at the river, soaking our feet in the cool water, and floating the curve. Your home is so relaxing and this is the best place to recharge before heading back to work. It was so much fun to see the 40+ quail chirping and running around the property, as well as stumbling across deer when heading to the river. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a great time.

Elk, Opsry, Deer (one right in front of the door), Quail, Humming Birds, Frogs and some of the most beautiful birds were some of the fantastic sights we enjoyed from the front porch of your home. The sight of the river from the chairs while relaxing is a sight I will hold in my heart forever! In a word, the cabin was PERFECT - don't change a thing! You both are kind to invite us to taste a piece of your slice of heaven, and we thank you so very much. Don't forget our offer to be the "caretakers" - I am sure we could do a good job! This is such a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful place. We are so glad that we came. You are truly wonderful people to have a place like this for us "city folk" to come up to and get out of the the rat race if only for a while.

Thanks for everything! Our wedding was better than I could have imagined. Here is to New Friends! We love this place and it was great to wed my love (Karole) here among our friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Garden Valley. We had the most fun and relaxing time. The kids especially loved the loft for "sleep overs" and the swing! Your hospitality, attention to detail, and your view are not to be matched elsewhere!
