  We were looking for an authentic Hawaii getaway and we found it at Ellie's Koloa House! The outside living room is soooooo relaxing. It is close to Poipu beach and the best snorkeling! Ellie's warmth and charm is an added bonus! We treasured all of her knowledge of the island's best attractions and we loved the personal attention. If you want to shy away from large, impersonal hotels and get a great bargain, this is your vacation house. Janice

  What a wonderful time we had on Kauai. Staying here at Ellie’s Koloa House was perfect. We walked up to quaint Koloa town several times for fresh fish, Lappert’s coffee/ice cream, meals out and strolled in and out of art galleries. Great location so close to Poipu Beach yet just far enough away form the hustle and bustle of resort central. We will recommend this rental to our friends at home and hope to return next fall.

  Ellie we arrive from the depths of media, commercials, and political chaos, which defines California, to be greeted by your warm smile and Kauaian charm. What a relief and respite from all the left behind hustle and bustle of home. Your great directions and amps you drew us lead to so many unknown sandy beaches, waves, trails and sunsets that we would not have otherwise encountered. You are truly a blessing on this island paradise. We look forward to our next visit.

  What a terrific accommodation in Kauai. We had a lovely family stay with our two adult sons; a very special time together.   Dear Ellie mahalo for a wonderful stay. We felt right at home for one main reason being your warmth and kindness to our whole family. Thanks for the sweet reminders of enjoying and celebrating our children while they are young. What a great place to return to our own childhoods as we all caught toads together and shared memories at your charming tropical house near Poipu Beach.

  Ellie, we truly enjoyed our honeymoon at this wonderful house. Why does anyone stay at the Hyatt?!?? Back to the mid-west until our next vacation.

  This is our third time to Ellie’s Koloa House. There is no need to go anywhere else. The price is right and the hospitality amazing. We scuba, snorkel, swim and then come home and relax at the most comfortable and affordable slice of paradise. Thanks Ellie,
