Property is beautiful. Pictures accurately reflect the condition of the home. Location is perfect for what we wanted - winery visits! The property was very clean and well stocked. It had everything we needed to cook meals including some of the basic spices and condiments. The dishware, pots and pans were in great condition. We've been to other VRBO rentals where that wasn't the case, so cooking here was awesome! The description of the 5 bedrooms is a little mis-leading, but not too bad. On the main level there is a gorgeous master bedroom suite that has an attached bathroom that I would have liked to bring home with me! Bedroom #2 on the main level has a queen size bed, but no closet and only a 1/2 bath just outside the room. There is not access to the patio from this room and all the other bedrooms do have access. I'm guessing it was meant to be an office or den. It would be nice to add an armour so guests in that room could at least hang their clothes in their room. Downstairs there are 3 more bedrooms. Bedroom #3 is another master bedroom suite. Not as big and beautiful as the upstairs, but still very, very nice. Bedroom #4 and bedroom #5 are as described and there is a full bath with double sinks just across the hall from these two rooms. We had 5 couples on this trip so the couple that ended up having to use the shower in the master bedroom and the hall closet felt a little less pampered. We would come again, but would set the expectations about that one room's limitations. My only other negative about this property is that we had a hard time getting information from the owner and getting our questions answered. He responded slowly and after making multiple attempts via email and phone. I would recommend this property to others. Don't get anxious about the lack of response, it will all work out and he will enventually respond!

We chose Santa Rosa for our spot for touring wineries and night-life. The property was amazing and perfect for our group. There was plenty of space, and the hot-tub grotto was excellent. The location was amazing and had beautiful views of the hills. Plenty of parking for our 4 cars and additionally, the owner let us use his personal space to store our bikes. Owner was most helpful with helping us with internet and other questions. Plenty of supplies for cooking your own dinners and enjoying the house. Would highly recommend to others and would absolutely use again if back in the area.

My extended family stayed at this lovely home for my daughter's destination wedding. It was absolutely perfect in every way. The owner and his wife were VERY accommodating. We have wonderful memories of the entire weekend. When I was notified of some damage to the property, the owner was very fair in his appraisal of the situation and what would be required for repair. This house is by far the best vacation home that I have stayed in. The pictures do not do the home justice. The home is in a nice neighborhood and is close to many nice places. This is a beautiful vacation spot, my family and I really enjoyed our stay here and it was just the right place for us to relax. When we arrived the home was clean and picture perfect. The home was very close to many of the nice wineries that the area has to offer. Paradise Winery in a nice winery that is about 5 min. away. There are a lot of nice restaurants, but two of my favorites were Jack's & Tony's (Santa Rosa)and Willie's Seafood (Healdsburg). There are just so many nice places to see and visit that you have to see for yourself. The owner was very nice and helpful in giving us some suggestions as to where we could go. I would highly recommend this home to anyone that will be planning a vacation to see the California Wineries.

Great House and Good Location for Napa and Sonoma winery visits

We had a WONDERFUL time staying at this house! There were 7 people in our group and this house easily accommodated all of us. The house is really spectacular! None of us experienced any problems with our cell phones or the wireless system. We had to call the owner a couple of times for minor things (hot tub instructions, TV & DVD operation), and he was very responsive each time. We cooked breakfast every morning and dinner a couple of evenings. The kitchen is beautiful and has top-of-the-line appliances; however, there were a few utensils we could have used such as, grilling tools and a can opener. The only other common comment from the group was that the people staying downstairs could hear the people upstairs. As for the location, it is very central to Napa and Sonoma and the neighborhood was quiet. Overall, we enjoyed staying at the house and we had a wonderful vacation.

An Incredible House, and Absolutely Gracious Host and Hostess.

Our group stayed at another property owned by the host a few miles away, but we had more members than expected, and host and hostess secured a stay for our "overflow" with only a moment's notice. Well, the other property is spectacular, but this one is even more so! The house appears to be big, but one cannot possible fathom how big it really is until entering. Two amazingly spacious and wonderful master bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house, but it is when one descends the stairs to the floor below that one REALLY appreciates the size and scope of the house: it is like going below decks in an aircraft carrier! All the bedrooms are more than comfortable and spacious. Anyone who stays for more than a few days will truly appreciate the intimate yet private nature of the rooms. The appointments are wonderful, and all features match one another in a consistent way that shows how much the owner painstakingly put the house together ( I have stayed in many places where the furnishings clashed with the wall paper and such. ) The amenities are just too much to delve into details here, but I would be more than happy to respond to anyone who is interested. There is a really charming park close by, golf courses abound, and an absolutely wonderful super-deli ( Traverso's, a Santa Rosa institution ) is only a few minutes away. There is a new and completely satisfying Whole Foods nearby that has all the gourmet goods and foods that one can imagine, along with two Trader Joe's as well as Costco and other establishments just a few miles away. Wineries are very close ( Paradise Ridge Winery is almost a neighbor ), and the host is so well-connected to the local wineries that one will be stunned with the results. For such a beautiful and luxurious property, the quality/price ratio as we in the wine trade call it is so wonderful that this must be included in the "Best Buy" category as well as in the "super quality" category. The photos are great, but they do not do justice to just how superb this house is. The "5-stars" categorization is just not enough. Please come and stay, and have an "once-in-a-lifetime" experience! I cannot give enough praise and credit to the kindness and consideration that the host and hostess extended to us during our stay here, and all I can really say is "ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED with NO RESERVATIONS!".

We had an awesome time here in Sonoma County during this time celebrating my 40th birthday. The home was a great place for all of my best frends to be together at. a perfect villa in a perfect setting

We had relatives stay here for our son's wedding. Amazingly decorated. Secluded hot tub with view and roof-even great in the rain with outdoor living room furniture and barbecue. Home was huge and was spacious enough for everyone. The two master suites were a big hit.Great kitchen and views. Extremely clean. Safe neighborhood for walking. Close to everything you need yet seems secluded, right in the heart of wine country. Called the owner who immediately responsed to help us . It was better than we could have imagined.

We arrived to an extremely clean house and instantly felt at home. The views are great and the beds were comfy. Close to wine tasting and 1 hour from San Fran. Our children loved the long hallways and the park at the end of the street. We look forward to coming back to the Santa Rosa house again soon. Thanks!

This house was fabulous! We loved being so close to so many things. We were in Healdsburg Wine Tasting within 10 minutes, or downtown Santa Rosa having dinner within 5. Not that we needed to worry about going out to dinner with the great Kitchen and all the wonderful amenities in the house. Thank you for a Fantastic Get Away! I will definitely be coming back again!
