Our Costa Rica Vacation Rental Home is located on 120 acre private rainforest reserve, just 10 min. away from great beaches near Puerto Jimenez on the Osa Peninsula. Only a 45 min flight from San Jose and a 10 min taxi ride and you’re here.
Our 2700 sq. ft. open air home has a great ocean view with a fabulous swimming pool. The rainforest literally comes right into our home and monkeys & birds pass by each day. We also have a luxury treehouse available- call or email for photos & virtual tour video. It is cooler than being right on the beach but is only minutes form the best beaches on the Osa. Also located where you have full electricity with no worries of solar power issues (losing power at midnight on a hot night!). However, we are environmentally conscientious & ask that you recycle (we provide), use recyclable grocery bags, patronize as many Tico businesses as you can while here & enjoy this lush area of Costa Rica.
What a place for a honeymoon, wedding or quiet romantic escape. Also perfect for families & groups of friends who do not want to share the amenities with other guests! We also have a treehouse available separately or together with the main house for larger groups or families (also sleeps up to 8).
Located at the tip of the Osa Peninsula in Southern Costa Rica. This unique vacation home is as close to nature as you can get. Activities include, waterfall hikes, kayaking, beachcombing, tree climbing, horseback riding, and my favorite- swimming with the dolphins. Located just 15 minutes North of Puerto Jimenez. The nicest beaches are only minutes away. Great Waterfall just up the river and Corcovado National Parks just 2 hours hike or just look at it from our back yard. Closest thing to asphalt is 3 hours away, you want to get away from it----this is the spot!
Private catering & chef, babysitting, guide all available. Very close to all Corcovqado adventures- we look at Corcovado to our west view.

- Ocean View: Wonderful view of the ocean. We watch the cruise ships slowly wander into the Gulf & go back out. ALso nice Gulf view from the treehouse!

- Broadband Internet: Is available but it is not always reliable since this is the jungle! So if you bring a laptop, bring ONLY one per group & if it is not working at either home, you are only 10 min from town & internet cafes.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Remember, it is not always available & sometimes the signal is weak- but when it works it is GREAT!

- Not Suitable for Children: Main house is not suitable for very small children since there are no rails or barriers on the second level. Suitable for children over toddler age. The house is not childproof at all! Treehouse is good for children over age 5. Great for the BIG kids!

Why the Owner Chose Puerto Jimenez
We chose the Osa Peninsula because of the wild diversity in plant & animal life. We have had sloths drop out of branches right in front of us while we pour morning coffee, monkeys entertain us almost every morning & afternoon. We have had silky anteaters, wild cats in the driveway, lots of fun lizards, frogs, birds, etc. We LOVE being close to the beach without being right on it- that chocolate volcanic sand gets HOT & stays that way at night- we have the elevated views of the water & cooler evening breezes!
The Unique Benefits of this House
We can choose to sleep in either home- the main house or the treehouse. It is a tough decision! One you will have to make when deciding which home to rent for your vacation. Both offer viewing of lots of wildlife. The main house has a pool which we cool off in right at the front door- the treehouse pool is a short walk to the fresh running spring fed rock pool- from there you hear the babbling river!
