Welcome to Hacienda Pescadero, the best of both worlds in Todos Santos.
This luxurious estate is located on 15 private acres on the Pacific. Surfing at the world-class San Pedrito point is a short walk away. Los Cerritos is a 5 minute drive south. In addition to ocean swimming, the estate has a 50 foot pool and waterfall spa. Surrounding the pool is a manicured garden, patio and enormous entertainment palapa with an outdoor kitchen and bath. There is a turtle hatchery directly in front of the property where baby turtles are released from October through March. Great hiking, mountain biking and ATVing are available as well.
The estate has sweeping ocean views from 5 of the 7 bedrooms. All bedrooms open to the outdoors with a private deck, patio or balcony. There are 2 bedrooms with king beds and 5 with queen beds. Two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath and all others have private baths. High-end decorator furnishings fill the rooms with a mix of hacienda-style Mexican and European antiques.
The common areas of the house include a kitchen outfitted with Sub-zero and Wolf appliances, a great room with a large flat screen TV, a screened living room and dining room all with great ocean views.
For the best of both worlds you can take a walk next door to the boutique hotel, Rancho Pescadero. There is a restaurant offering the freshest seafood, shellfish and steaks - open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is an additional pool and spa, a bar and lounge, a sunset deck and a full service spa offering massages, body treatments and a traditional Aztec temezcal sauna. While the estate is completely private, the additional amenities of the hotel offer your group the ultimate in flexibility. Combining the 12 suites at the hotel with the estate allows you to celebrate weddings, family reunions or corporate groups of up to 40 people all in an intimate setting.

Year Purchased: 1998
I am a drop-out CEO from the Bay Area. I left a very successful career to slow down and enjoy a different lifestyle. George, my partner is a native Hawaiian who loves to fish and surf. My passion is designing, building and decorating places. I love to make something from nothing. I bought the land here in the late 90's on a road trip and started building in 2006 when I "retired." So far I've built several houses and a boutique hotel. I love using traditional Mexican finishes and materials in a new way. All of my projects have many hidden places for relaxing, watching the whales, taking a siesta and finding some private space. All of our guests have been surprised at how nice the properties are - and that is my greatest compliment.
Why the Owner Chose Todos Santos
George, my partner is a native Hawaiian. He says that this place is like Hawaii in the 50's. Great surf, fishing, whales, turtles and sunsets. We live surrounded by fields of basil, calla lilies and chilies. There's organic produce available and if you didn't catch anything on the beach in the morning, you can go to Punta Lobos at 3:00 and buy fresh fish off the boats. All of this and Costco is just an hour away!
The Unique Benefits of this Estate
If you're here between October and March, you can participate in the release of just-hatched turtles at Sunset directly in front of the estate. The whales migrate from October through April. World-class surfing is a 5 minute walk away.
