Serenity in Fresh Clean Sunny Arizona Near Tubac

Year Purchased: 2006

Why the Owner Chose Tubac

I built this home originally for myself, but since it only has only a 2 car garage, I decided on building another one that has a 3 car garage. I live in this same area as I enjoy star gazing and bird watching and walking in the wilderness. It is close to Madera Canyon where there are pine trees. The evenings always have a nice, gentle breeze and you can look forward to sunny, pristine skies that are some common in Arizona.

The Unique Benefits at this Home with Garage & RV Parking

If you like to see the stars that are visible from the dark, clear skies of this area, this is the area for you. There are also a lot of wild life in the area and there is the faint sound of an occasional train in the valley below. The Tumaccari Mountains and Elephant Rock can been seen from this location and the sunsets and sunrises are superior.
Tubac has a unique feel to it with rich culture of Spain, Mexico and Arizona and it has many fun and historical places. There is a festival of the lights Dec 4-6th and an art walk on that Friday.

A
Tumacarri National Park

Old Spanish Mission founded by Fr. Keno

B
Golf Course: Tubac

Otero, Rancho & Anza

C

D

One of the oldest towns in the west Currently a great place to find art, eat at old time restaurants and experience lots of fun.

G

Great place to meet the locals.

    • We stayed here for 10 days in the fall. The house is new and very clean. The area provided plenty to do for us, golf, art, visits to Mexico, but coming back to the wildlife and peaceful scenery surrounding the house provided a perfect combination of an active and relaxing vaction. My only complaint is that there was no cable TV, however, we found all our favorite programs online using the provided high-speed internet. We would definitely stay here again.

    • This place was recommended by friends in Phoenix, and we weren't disappointed. We rented the house while visiting and receiving family. The house was inviting and cheery for receiving visitors. It was also quiet and private when we had it to ourselves. The wonderful time we had was so much enhanced by the welcoming setting. See you next year, Maryann!

    • The location could not be more breathtaking, especially with the stars in the high-skied clear nights and the delightfully dry air. The house is a little refuge in a secret little enclave with its own local charm and unique feel. The views of the mountains are mesmerizing. The local fauna and people are unintrusive, calm and pleasant. You can go out and revel in the outdoors, in the galleries, in the taverns. The house is perfect for an enjoyable escape for two. Nothing or plenty to do ... it's all up to you! We loved it

      Homeowner Response:
Katherine & Paul: Thank you for the lovely comments. Do come back soon.
