The Casa has 2 bedrooms, a living room, dining room, full kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms. Free WI-FI wireless internet access, off street parking, free local calls, cable TV, DVD/CD player, Traeger Smoker/BBQ.
Bedroom 1: This bedroom is spacious, has a King Size bed, walk in closet, hardwood floors, antique dressers and night stands. Down comforters.
Bedroom 2: Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed, with walk in closet and hardwood floors. Down comforters.
Living Room: The living room has plenty of 'Old World Charm' with an open beam wood ceiling, fireplace, and hardwood floors. You are sure to feel comfortable and cozy relaxing in the living room with a leather couch, leather chair with ottoman and queen chair. The antique armoire contains the entertainment center with cable TV, DVD player, stereo and CD player.
Dining Room: The dining room has a table with seating for 6. There is an additional leaf that can be added if you require a larger table setting.
Kitchen: The kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, Viking range/oven, marble counter tops and marble island with seating for 4. Keeping with the Old Spanish style the sink is a large hammered copper farmhouse sink with copper fixtures. The kitchen has plates, glasses, wine glasses, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, blender, etc... It is fully prepared, just add groceries!
Bathrooms: There is a full bathroom next to the bedrooms and a half bathroom off of the laundry room.
Laundry: The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer.
Linens: We provide linens, towels and beach towels.
Additional Bed: The Casa will sleep 4 in beds, we do have an additional full size aero bed that can be used for an extra bed if necessary.
Outdoor Space: Front yard is surrounded by 10' hedgerow with grassy courtyard and brick porch with bistro table and chairs. Back yard has brick patio, BBQ, teak dining table and chairs.

Eric & Yvonne, It was wonderful to meet you. We really enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. I had almost as much fun in the kitchen as I did at Torrey Pines! Again, thanks so very much. We had a wonderful time. We will certainly be back out your way sometime in the next year and will certainly check with you first on availability. I think we might try your Pacific Beach house next time. The only thing we missed a bit about our location this time was that it wasn’t quite as bike friendly as PB was for us, that is why we didn’t go rent bikes. My husband, two children (9 & 13) and I just returned from a wonderful trip to California in which we were lucky enough to stay at Yvonne and Eric's house in the old town of La Jolla. The photos accurately depict the property but it is even better when you get there. It was easy to find and a short walk (7 minutes maybe) into the old town proper. There was parking in a private driveway, a grassy yard for the kids to play in, a great tree to climb in, a porch to enjoy a glas of wine or two and a lovely sitting area out back with a fireplace,chiminea which we never got to use as we were too busy with all the sites to see and enjoy. Upon entering we found a lovely living space tastefully decorated and well appointed with all the essentials. Thru the living room was the dining room and thru that was the kitchen which had everything one could possibly need! It was just like being at home. There was a laundry room (came in very handy!) and a 2nd washroom off the kitchen. The bedrooms were at one end and the washroom with shower and plenty of counter space was shared between them. There was more than enough storage space in the bedrooms for hanging clothes as well as 2 sets of chests of drawers in the master bedroom and another set in the 2nd bedroom. Lots of thick and large towels and beach towels, etc. Erik and Yvonne were actually there while we were and the only hiccup we had was with the heat which was immediately repaired and working within the same day while we were out exploring. They were so very friendly and helpful and unintrusive. We would have loved to have shared a glass of wine with them but never found the time, although we saw lots of the area in which they are so lucky to live. The only negative I would have to say about this property is the location: excellent for convenience and location in town, but also a bit noisy in the early am for that very reason. Certainly nothing that you could not sleep through or excessively disturbing just traffic and a passing comment for those with tendencies to want complete solitude for sleeping. It was a pefect holiday spot and we would highly reccomend it to couples, families (you can rent the upsatirs as well if you need to, we did not) or groups travelling together. No pool but the beaches are beautiful. Thank you Eric and Yvonne!! We look forward to staying with you again sometime. C&J, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
